Wow, your reviews are really spot on and have a lot of great content. Not only about the watch, but the psyche of collecting. We share a lot of the same views.
Nice to see a Canadian with this. I'm Canadian myself, and love both the light and dark Soko. Not sure which I'll get. It's way cheaper than the 10k+ GS
I own a Rolex GMT coke dial from 2005, it was it was purchased because I like the craftsman ship, the movement and the fact it can keep time constantly in 2 different zones+ allows you to estimate time in a third time zone if you use the rotating ring and you know time zones. I digress, to GS, which is better made than a Rolex with a higher degree of technology that has been invested into the movement and yet most people dont know ir understand the brand-lets call it ignorance. I weR German watches and my favorite brand has been Sinn for about 15 years, nobody knows about them. I congratulate your purchase, definitely a keeper.
I’ve recently been educating myself on the caliber’s in watches, very fascinating, learning about the spring drive caliber was fascinating to me, nice review.
would've been great if you added the shot with bracelet too... nonetheless this 39mm model with straps look lovely on ur 6" wrists... wear in good health
That magic trick at 0:27 had me speechless! Haha. Cheers and thanks for the content!
What was the trick?

Congrats on your GS. Thinking I treat myself this Xmas. Really like the dial. GS makes beautiful dials in the market in my op.

Great review Beautiful watch congratulations on your purchase.
Nice job! I have my eye on the “Skyflake” GS.

I been looking for a 39mm spring drive for awhile. This one seems nice! The asymmetry thing is overblown. look at FP journe, nothing is symmetric.
Your cred went up many factors with the Nintendo in the backrop.
I have the shadow version. Great watches and great value with the included strap
I like the power reserve indicator more than the date indicator
"You buy a Rolex to impress others. You buy a Grand Seiko to impress yourself."
Exactly!
Seiko does this all regions. They release specific watches only in one region.
Hello! Is this one fairly new? I can never find one on eBay! Since you have the same wrist size as me I thought maybe it would be perfect for me too
It was released back in summer 2020 I believe. It's a US exclusive, so that's partially why there aren't too many online.
Beautiful, a keeper!

That watch is the bomb!
love this
What watch were you wearing at the beginning?
It was the SBGA427 on a leather strap.
👍🐸👍
It really is an awesome watch..
that polishing throws me off tbh. how is it now?
There are a few more hairlines scratches on the case now, but otherwise, I believe the finishing is superb.
Beautiful. You're lucky
Dislike the polished part of the bezel and crown. Rather have matte finish which will hide scratches over the long term.
19mm lug width, not 20mm. I wish it did have a 20mm lug width
