And with a 7 liter tank you would not get anywhere either. A bigger 12-14 liter tank would require a whole redesign of the entire bike. So instead of the ~ 60hp 450SM at little over 100kg, you'd get 140kg 40hp bike. No thanks. You might as well go and buy a KTM Duke 390. 150kg & 42hp Because that's what a street legal 450 would end up being. A GasGas SM 700, Husqvarna 701 SM or a KTM SMC-R 690 make a whole lot more sense.
