I'd forgotten all about that commercial. Seeing it again kind of reminds me of the Trix commercials where in this case Steve is the rabbit and Laura is the cereal. They both want what they can't have.
What a great time to be a kid! Unlike the previous generation, somebody actually recorded these broadcasts so we still have them in all their trippy glory! It was the end of an era though. By the late 90's regulations changed and these crazy ads along with the bulk of Sat AM on major networks disappeared.
@Meredith_Vintage, The Slimer! and The Real Ghostbusters episodes are "Mean Green Teen Machine", "Janine, You've Changed" and what's that episode at 20:13?
ah, the TMNT parody episode. shows the desperation going on when they tried to make a reference to TMNT and later on The Simpsons in another episode (even though the characterization of the Simpsons parody ghosts were of the characters from Married with Children). Janine You've Changed was a good one since they got the head writer J. Michael Stryzinski back to write episodes but afterward, he left again because even he could see the writing was on the wall for the series after Q5 basically ruined it.
For some reason, this puts the season 7 credit over the season 6 closing sequence, as evident from Kimberly R. Francis having the 32nd assisting credit and Trudy Alexander and Kris Giplin having the 42nd Associate Producer credit. This is presumably a 1992 ABC rerun of season 6 (1990 episode) thing.
Lady you are just one of a kind just posting one of my favorite Saturday morning ERA and That is ABC.... Great treasure upload....... Thank you God Bless There is a Heaven!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is the 2nd version of the closing credits of the final season of The Real Ghostbusters, when it was known as Slimer! and The Real Ghostbusters, has the cast and crew's people names animated season 7 credits copied onto it from the season 6 closing sequence, as evident from Kimberly R. Francis having the 32nd assisting credit and Trudy Alexander and Kris Giplin having the 42 Associate Producer credit, set in Optima Extra Black and Helvetica Heavy fonts.
This must be from a rerun of a 1990 Season episode. The 1991 Season, the last one, only had four episodes. According to some experts on this show, after the final four original episodes aired, the remaining reruns were from 1989 and 1990.
Even though this had repeats and some of the things shown in it ain't for me this is the 1st video of lots of commercials I felt was worth my time watching in a very long time it has commercials I look for and in good condition and I'm glad ya shown a Bill Cosby commercial I like his commercials I don't think of the bad. Usually I look for vids of one 80s/90s maybe even a late 70s commercial 'even though I wasn't born before 1985'. I wish somebody would make a Twitter focusing on vids of one 80s/90s 'maybe late 70s' commercial I don't know of many 'if any' who does and I can't come to YT every time I want to watch classic commercials.
Do you have new year's with Dick Clark on a VHS TAPE 📼 ? Please ?. I believe it is 12/31/2001 and the other one it is 12/31/2003. Please ? Find it, then you upload the entire vhs tape. Please ? And Thank You.📼🙏👍😀
It’s amazing why Me TV do not advertise these products on their cartoon programs these are more appropriate than the insurance prescription and otc medicines online casinos that they advertise
That’s what I’m thinking as well. They should at least restore and remaster some of the classic commercials to fit the mood when they’re showing the cartoons.
It would be nice if ya could've put the timestamps or whatever its called in the line that shows on the screen instead of the info so we could watch the parts of the vid we want instead of the whole thing but I'm not complaining.
Thanks for the feedback. You need to reach 1000 subscribers to be able to have that chapter feature on the screen. And a lot of other channels with tv commercial videos I have seen don't list out all the timestamps in the description or omit them completely since it is a timely process, but it's an extra thing that I do where I manually go through the video to make it easier for the viewer. Glad you enjoyed the video 🙂
I knew that Steve Urkel had his own talking doll but he actually had his own cereal as well? Unbelievable! Just unbelievable!
I'd forgotten all about that commercial. Seeing it again kind of reminds me of the Trix commercials where in this case Steve is the rabbit and Laura is the cereal. They both want what they can't have.
I didn’t know that either
If I had a 90’s themed restaurant I’d just play these ads on old tvs people could just sit and watch.
0:17 🎵 After these messages will be... RIGHT BACK!🎵
1992 was peak latchkey kid era for me, I can almost recite these commercials lol 😅
I remember some these commercials and this children's show.

Holy cow, I totally forgot about that "After These Messages" jingle and now it's playing in my head nonstop 😇

Who was that voiceover for the end credits of Real Ghostbusters?
I've been accustomed to Ed Jordan or Sid Doherty.

This was the 1992 text end of the credits.
different end credits.
Looks like the copyright at the end said 1990.
