Nice to see the landfill as something different. Another fantastic video packed full of useful information; great work! Also love the split view video clips too.
Makes me appreciate my little F-600 hooklift's maneuverability in residential areas. We do back alleys too and with the hooklift you can come at pretty extreme angles. You can delay lining up the rails a little longer.
Used to run Frameless 1 piston trailers and triaxles to the dump. This brought back slight ptsd lol. On dry summer days it was shitty but not bad. When it rained heavy or in snow it was just hell on earth. God forbid the scale computers go down or you break down / pop a tire up there.
Easier with lift axl on the boggie last axl to get better maneuver the truck ... I used to drive kinda that in Norway but we had Palefinger lift hook and it was so must better to hook containers
Question about tipping...i give the driver 10 bucks for a small dumpster in my driveway and 10 bucks for picking it up. Is this decent or am i being cheap? It costs 250 bucks to rent one for 3 days...😊
Usually only commercial waste vehicles are allowed access to landfills , and there is a separate location for people to drop off stuff themselves such as bulk items that garbage trucks won't take , landfill operators won't allow people to just walk in or drive their vehicle into the landfill because of the hazardous conditions with garbage trucks moving around unloading and trash packing dozers moving everywhere.
Wonder why USA doesnt do Swedish Hooklift style, its 1 arm then two things that hold the container on each side and not all that cable stuff and what not.
I dont miss the landfill i drove a semi and roll off the live bottoms toooopk way to long 😂 but i was in Florida knee dep in poo and mix of chemicals yeah thanks for doing that
Absolute disgrace to see a landfill like this. The 1 i go to is super clean and they do a hell of a job to scrape the ground. Never will you see shit laying around for you to drive over..
@@bobeternal9104I would keep roll off as a last option. I’d look into fuel trucks if you have the endorsements. Been driving five years now and I’ve done dump trucks , flatbed, walking floor and tipper trailers and id do roll off LAST.
@@bobeternal9104 Its an awesome job dude(If you can use your head). 7 years and still love it. And if you get with a good reputable company its good money.

Please do more of these kinds of videos please. I love to see people going to the landfill since you don't really see people posting these videos.

I reccomend ROLLISKATE for dumpsters in residential properties(driveways)so you don’t have to do all the work with the wood. Great work!
I have been to a landfill in Oberlin, Ohio. Lots of flying rats. The landill was owned by BFI, which I believe is now Republic Services.

i started doing roll off bins 5 months ago and its a pretty solid job decently enjoyable

I definitely want to get in roll off trucking
sad to see shoving trash in the ground is still a thing we need a better way
Nice pov of the 567 model or whatever the smaller version is called
Donavon said that while there are some things in life where people can get sick 🤒

I would like to visit the landfill

Not on a hot summer day you wouldn't
@@josephbennett3482i dont know how it is now but years ago my dad and i took stuff up to the dump and dumped stuff off
Great video - thanks.
I like your videos man
How does the 567 ride? I’ll be driving one soon. I do lumber roll-offs

Cool well done!

That was Edgeboro, right?
Put the cable lock on and drag it out the driveway
He didn't have any room to just drive straight up out the drive way. And it's def. not smart to turn while the dumpster is like that.
Nice content bro! Question, how many bins on average do you take/pick-up?
5 containers dumped at the dump if your good at roll off driving.
Beautiful truck!!!!
Cool video Dude!
Them cable lifts messy the hook lift system in uk much easier and safer 😮
How much garbage do we make?! Haha.
It really says a lot the way a driver keeps the inside of his truck garbage on the dash on the floor
What?
It’s not his truck.
This is pretty clean compared to what I've seen at the company i work for
The clorox wipes on the dash made me laugh Like your really
Cleaning anything in that truck
@@burnttaco1451plus these trucks are gonna be dirty no matter how much you clean them
Maybe you should tighten your boots lol
I think "Skill" is what you develop when you have the "Confidence" to try/learn something new.
Why don’t they burn it? Instead of burying it ?
You know they make shoelaces right for your shoes
I work There But a different state
Is this the Meadowlands
East Brunswick landfill??
Shows the kind of worker you are when they don’t do up their boot laces

I would be pissed if I had someone use my truck for the day and put wet wood or any type of trash in it.
I used to build those hoist
hated driving rolloffs hated every second of it
Why? I am thinking about doing roll off right now
