It's amazing the confidence some of these people show in these hair fail videos, especially when doing drastic changes like bleaching. Confidence doesn't equal knowing what you are doing.

The way she was applying all the stuff at once and doing the shampoo method, trying to get it all to lather, or whatever she was trying to do, is how I used to apply dye to my hair. I was totally unaware of sectioning back then. Thankfully, I always managed to get a good result. Mind you, my hair was completely very dark brown back then - a 2, I think? - and had coppery highlights in it.
Now my hair's still a 2 with lots of grey streaked through, especially in front, but I went blonde a few weeks ago. It was an all right job, but nothing like when I did it again on Monday. This time I used what I've learned from watching your videos, Hair Buddha, and videos by a few other good hairdressers and colourists and stylists, and made sure to section, section, section. haha I did do the roots at the same time as the rest this time - I know, I know! - but my hair turned out really well. Quite good this time, a lot better than last time. My hair's regrowth was about 2 or 3 cm, maybe 4 cm, and it was time to redo it.
Also, I didn't use shampoo afterwards. I did condition my hair really, really well, and my hair's just feeling good, actually. I can't wait to wash it later today or sometime tomorrow, but I'm not going anywhere the next few days or so anyway. :D

Another fun reaction! This is why I just sort of move around the color wheel when I want to change colors. I have purple right now, and if it doesn’t fade enough, I’ll do blue or red.

You are right. She just needs to bleach the roots again and then pastel pink her whole head. But I would put pure pink on the roots and half conditioner and pink on the ends. The ends will still be drier than the roots and soak the pigment up a lot faster than the roots.
It's "Bleaching Mistakes" bingo - coconut oil, no sections, roots and lengths at the same time, 30 developer, Quick Blue!

What do you think about aphogee treatments for at home bleached hair? Would you recommend it to balance the missing proteins or is it too harsh? Also it would be nice if you did some video about protein because too much treatments and too stripped of proteins can cause so much breakage that people don't really know where the breakage issues come from. I just ordered aphogee treatments and the only thing that came up on youtube was porous and curly hair and just a few straight hair reactions. Thank you for these videos, these are priceless! :)

Not a cosmetologist maybe one-day I love nails and hair and skin rejuvenation. I guess I have just learned alot being a natural red head we know how hard it is to get that out. But my daughter's hair has so much natural oil it's hard to even dye so I know any oil is a bad idea before coloring or bleaching. Just found your channel love it ty for the tips.

I have been watching your videos for a while now and wish that any person wanting to go the DIY route would watch your very informative videos so they could get a decent result. I use blonde me bleach and the matching developer in 20 vol as I would rather do it twice if needed. I still need to learn more about mixing ratio's to get the colour right when toning. I use Redkin Shades EQ.

I've seen more videos from her 😀 She's funny. 😀 Anyway, I have to write, that a few years before I belached my hair and it went wrong. From the half a hairdresser cutted my hair, because it was green - I used henna before, congrats - and burned. So after I just wanted to leave bleaching for my whole life.
My natural hair colour is now between 6 and 7 - when I was a kid, I had a lighter blonde hair with a reddish tone in it - but I dye it with copper. So I ordered a 6.70 colour from a brand with developer. (I don't use any box die nowadays.) And thr colour turned out really dark and purple. I wanted to go to a hairdresser to fix it, but couldn't. So I decided, that I MUST do my hair by myself, because I didn't feel good with that colour. It wasn't me. Thank god, that you have this channel! I think, people can learn so much from your videos! I did a bleach bath on my hair. The hairdresser suggested me 40 vol developer, but I was sure, that I shouldn't use that. So I used 30 vol, water, shampoo, I took lots of belach on my hair, I had SECTIONS too. 😀 I waited 15 minutes, I was so scared because of my early experience, but it turned out way bettet than I thought! My hair stayed healthy, it didn't fell out 😀 And I got back my copper hair colour with a little tint of light brown. I felt I got back a piece of myself. So thank you Hair Buddha for your educational contents! :> (But I don't want to bleach or do a bleach bath on my hair again!)
