Woah, thats insame, I did not know Kopiko made instant coffee, I thought it was coffee candy lol. Beautiful trail. My very first backpacking trip was Havasupai Falls in June and 114 degrees F
@nizzy116 yes 😊 they're original products are instant coffees, and then they made candies. Havasupai is one of my favorites! I would love to backpack it again ❤️❤️❤️ How was your trip there?
@@sunkissedmary first time backpacking with 45 pounds of weight 6000ft elevation 19 miles and stupidity def was a learning experience. We had a 6000 elevation gain. I ended up sleeping in someone's abandoned tree hammock instead of tent.
@nizzy116 Oh nooooo, I have my failures on my first backpacking trip as well. But we all learned from them! 45lbs is a lot for me. You're tough carrying all of those weights.
@lovelybluntdoll I love natural sounds too! I mix music every now and then, but I agree with you. This one should be music free. Thank you for the input!
Amazing video! 😱🤩👍 And I am so jealous now! 😂😂 I did South Kaibab to Phantom Ranch to Bright Angel back in May 🤘 and last year I was there in May too when Plateau Point was open, it was a nice bonus hike 🥵 Bright Angel trail is brutal, specially the Devil’s Corkscrew part and the section between 3 and 1.5 rest houses 🥵 Do you think North to South is doable in a day? 🤔 Did you drink the famous and delicious Phantom Ranch Lemonade? 😋🥤
I did the same trail last year of April, but opposite route! It was beautiful with all the wildflowers! Where's the Devil's Corkscrew? Maybe in spring and fall, the rim to rim is doable in the day. Not in summer, though. It was brutal whenever the sun hits the trail. I didn't like the lemonade but I enjoyed the ice-cold tea!
@@sunkissedmary Devil’s Corkscrew are the set of switch backs bellow Havasupai Gardens, coming from the river that section seems endless 🥵😂. You did like the lemonade!? 😱😱 Actually, you are the second person to mention their iced tea, I’ll have to go down there again and try it then 🤔… maybe I’ll have both since I really like their lemonade 😬😋. I wanted to do North to South this September, but instead I am going on a hiking trip in southern Utah 😍🙌
@bobbafett7407 😲😲😲 oohhh... I remember that part. I didn't know there's a name for it 😅😜 No, I didn't like the lemonade when I tried it last year. It's super sweet, so I ordered iced tea this time and I liked it!
@@sunkissedmary a bunch of trails, it’s a “hiking road trip” 😂 going to Moab, have planned some hikes in the area as well as in Canyonlands and Arches. I think you would love the slot canyons in Escalante 👍 Possibly Bryce (again) and/or in Page before coming back to Phx 😎🤘
I did the Rim to Rim many years ago, and it is one of my favorite memories. I'm so glad you got to do this hike of a lifetime!!!

Another mistake... do not bring dry beans and not soak them and cooking them on a Jetboil. This was before I learned to actually cook lol
I want to meet others with this passion. I free climb in Phoenix
