    Thank you for an excellent and thorough review! Have the same class machine, a CK3520SE with about 60 Hours so far on it. Been just as fantastic, and only real issue was when I forgot to remove a wheel lock and drove a few feet, so lost the front tire bead. Use a wheel lock, gps, and steering wheel lock to keep it safe, as I keep mine covered in the woods behind our home until a more permanent covered home is built. The Kioti will surely play a huge part in building a new home for itself!
    Also have the loader and factory backhoe, grapple, forklift, ballast box, subsoiler, and box blade. Have lights for it still in the box, and plans for a rops cover as well.
    Just brought home 40 - 60lb sacks of concrete, and was able to move around the pallet from my truck with relative ease.
    You and a few other good colleagues helped me make a great decision with this wonderful equipment. Thank you!!!

    I have a CK3510HST and have had problems with the fuel inlet filter. I've had to fish it out 3 times. I use a piece of steel brake line and make a dog catcher by running .030 welding wire down the tubing making a loop noose. Tricky but can be done. I bought a 55 gallon tank and pump mounted to a homemade skid. Problem solved.

    So I have a 2017 CK3510 and your review is spot on. A great tractor. Some issues that I've had are: same grease fitting bolt loosening issue, same fuel tank screen pushed into the tank issue (same way as you), top link bracket bolts fell out (they are too short from Kitoi, I recommend replacing them with longer grade 10.8 bolts with locktite blue), cracked subframe for the backhoe (Kioti repaired it even after warranty because it is a known issue - I also now connect the top link to the backhoe under the seat - I HIGHLY recommend that you do this as other manufacturers now (LS tractor, etc.) do this), torn shifter boot from the factory and general loosening of bolts. You have to torque every 10 hours when you grease. I also have about 300 hours on it and love the tractor. Well built for it's class.

    • @tractorrookie
      @tractorrookie  3 роки тому

      🌟👍 Wow! Thanks! That is a lot of good information. How did you attach the top link to the backhoe? That seems like a good idea especially given the frame issue. I was unaware of the that. Thanks for the comment! Very helpful.💪😎🚜🇺🇸

    • @geremychubbuck3730
      @geremychubbuck3730 3 роки тому +1

      @@tractorrookie I made a bracket and welded it under the seat on the floor to connect the top link to. Search the internet and you'll see some examples. I can send you pics of it if I can figure out how to send pics on youtube chat. I highly recommend it and also bracing the subframe in the weak spot where they all break. I use my backhoe a lot and I do know how to properly use it. The backhoe is simply too powerful and heavy for the box beam frame that it comes with. It really needs the top link attached at a minimum. LS does this on theirs as well from the factory.

      @@geremychubbuck3730 Nice! That sounds awesome. One of the guys on the Facebook page. “Kioti tractor owners only” said that he thought Kioti had added supports and that mine was new enough to have them. It does have supports that run up from the frame at a 45. I would love to see photos of your top link. My email is mywildkiotiadventures@gmail.com

    Fantastic video I've watched it at least 3x now in the years I've been researching what tractor to get. Can you comment on the loader controls - I've heard that these do not have an 8-way loader control where you can lift/curl at the same time. I've been borrowing a friend's Kubota for years and this is a great feature and I'm constantly multitasking the loader/bucket control. I did purchase a CK3510SE/Cab and should be ready in a couple weeks.

    • @tractorrookie

      😊👍 Hi Johnson! Thanks for checking out the video and commenting!!! Congratulations on the new tractor!!! A cab would be awesome! I do not think my tractor does a true multi function. I am use to it and I have become fairly efficient at operating the bucket, but there is a delay between the curl and lift and so on. I would say it is slight and depending on what you are use to , it could make a difference. I think keeping the RPMs up also helps, but that might be in my head. I am anxious to hear what you think about it. My nieghbor has a Kubota that used at his place, I really didn’t notice a difference. Take care and good luck with the new tractor!🇺🇸🚜🍺

      That seems really awful! I have not even looked at the regen filter. I wouldn’t know where to start. I guess I’ll have to watch a video.

    Thanks for the review. Does the "auto PTO shut-off" have a brake on the PTO shaft? I have a NH3 TC33D and my PTO continues to run for 30-60 seconds after I shut it off when I'm using mowers and tiller, so an electric switch to disconnect somehow would not stop the rotating of the PTO shaft. Just trying to figure out how these new tractors work.
    Thanks,
    Paul

      Hi Prow! Thanks for checking out the video. One of times that the PTO link saved me, I hit a big rock in the field. I believe the bush hog stopped when I hit the rock, pulled the three point hitch up immediately and the tractor cut power to the PTO. I don’t think it has a brake that stops it, I think it just cuts power. I’ll test it next time I hook up the bush hog and pay more attention. Take care!🚜🇺🇸🍺

    Thank you! Do you have to clutch when going from low to Med range and engaging the 4 wheel drive or Diff lock? Can't find it in my manual anywhere as it pertains to the hydrostatic trans.

      😊👍 Hi Will, anytime I shift gears or engage 4x4 or diff lock, I do it when I’m stopped. I do not take it out of gear to engage 4x4 or the diff. Lock. Hope that helps!!!💪🚜🇺🇸🍺

    I am debating between a Kioti, or Massey F. Any recommendations?

    • @tractorrookie
      @tractorrookie  2 роки тому

      😊👍Hi Ranchito! Well, probably one of the biggest factors when you are considering two good brands is dealership and dealership support. Secondly, I would compare features of each and determine best value for the money. I went with Kioti with it being a close dealership and best features for the money. Hopefully you can get some seat time and play with the controls. Good luck! Thanks for checking out the video. 🚜🍺🇺🇸

      The only thing I found in the manual was digging force and operating pressure. I suspect they would say it’s not designed for lifting. 😊🤷🏼‍♂️ Cheers!🍺🚜🇺🇸

      You are probably right, but who wouldn't? I'm sure the position of the bucket has a dramatic effect on lifting power, thus hard to define. Thanks for your reply!

      As a side note, two dealers discouraged the backhoe purchase saying I wouldn't need it. Not sure how they could know that but I'm gonna give it a go without and see how it goes for a while. Delivering the 2610 tomorrow, they say.

    How tall is canopy? Max height?

    • @tractorrookie
      @tractorrookie  4 місяці тому

      The Rops height is 99.2 inches. The canopy is somewhat adjustable, but you are likely going to be over the rops and over 99". www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/008/8/6/8865-kioti-ck3510-dimensions.html

    what is the regen??? This is what melted this plastic..

    • @tractorrookie
      @tractorrookie  3 роки тому +2

      🚜😊 Yes, the regen is the system in the tractor that burns out all the leftover diesel particles. The regen only kicks on every 50 hours or so on tractors that are above a certain horsepower. It’s not a problem as long as I keep those loader arms up away from the exhaust during the 15-20 minute regen. Thanks for checking out the video.🍺🇺🇸
