Pain pulled up to the strongest village , fought with everyone that stood against him , killed as many as he could , ended kakashi , gave a speech about peace to tsunade and then destroyed the village . Then proceeded to kill fugasaku , capture naruto and kyubi , destroyed hinata , fought with 6 tails naruto and made a smaller moon and then chose to die himself for what he did and went against hatred in his own way .. . This guy is a G.O.A.T ❤
I'm convinced that this scene, with the significance regarding the stakes at play and the events prior, is genuinely the peak of all the hype there is and can be. Even watching this for what must be the 100th time, I still get goosebumps.

This is the best sub-entry in all of the Naruto franchise. Just popping up and causing minor destruction wasn't enough. So my boy Pain inflict greater Pain upon those who haven't recieve as much Pain as yet.

I believe he can take out 3 paths just with 6th gate (his movement would be too fast for rinnegan users to even contemplate what his moves are) and if he goes to 7th gate he can destroy atleast 5 pains. It is quite easy to assume that the only one that has any chance of stopping him is the Deva path that too with possibly only Chibaku Tensei. Gai obliterated Kisame with his 7th gate and Kisame can take on 3 paths by himself. Pain was lucky that Gai was not there.

Tsunade is really underrated here. Pain tries to flex his chakra and intimidate her. It works on the anbu, but she just looks annoyed. Pain launches an attack that nobody can stop, and Tsunade keeps almost everyone alive.
It’s funny that Tsunade says Pain made false accusations, because the flashback later clearly shows she was literally in the war that caused him to be like that😂 She also saw him as a kid and didn’t even care about him or Konan and Nagato
