You as well. I’m happy to follow up with you on social media if you have any questions in the future (though first checking in with a local Catholic parish is always best🙂). Will keep you in my prayers! May God bless you and all the saints pray for your good.
Awesome job Drew bringing Jared to us!! 🙂 He is one sharp fella, and I hope that thru Jared others who were raised Mormon can come to truly know our Living Christ! ;)
I'm curious. What is he going to offer them that they don't already have? Most LDS members look at Exmos like a PSA. They all have family or friends who leave (usually they become atheist, it's more rare for them to join a lower demand church) and it's typically a noticeable precipitous decline. It would be nice if the host were knowledgeable enough to dig into some of the deeper issues that caused the guest to break his covenants.
@HaleStorm49 I was once very prideful and faithful LDS member who assumed everyone who left was a weak sinner or dumb. I didn't realize how judgemental and prideful I was then, but that's what it was. Then I did fall into sin (commence your stone throwing now), and I went straight to my bishop to repent. I put all my trust in the system. I was heartbroken, in despair, poured everything into prayer in my hopes of forgiveness. It was confusing twists the whole way through. My bishop said I was forgiven, but gave me a penance of "a certain amount of tears and sorrow", which was absolutely what I felt for months. There wasn't true forgiveness until I left and 8 years later found Christ's actual authority in the Catholic Church. I reflect on Christ's words to the adulterous woman, "Go and sin no more." Not "go and think about what you've done." The LDS church will offer you Christ if you can reach the benchmark level of worthiness. When you can't reach that benchmark, you need more Jesus. The Catholic Church has more Jesus. On my own I am a PSA. When Christ is in me, I am better.
Fr. Jared Selim sounds about right. 😊 I loved how he rolled his eyes 52 min. into the video. Great video. Long, but I ended up watching it over and over. Unbelievable. Love this channel.
@@lindaakguest4ever50 and @myronmercado, thank you for your remarks. I am neither an ordained priest nor a married man. I am praying for holiness and clarity in my discernment and eventual decision towards either or neither vocation. The ring on my wedding finger, featuring the medal of St. Benedict of Nursia (whom I often turn to in matters of discipline and vocation), signifies my temporary vow of celibacy until a future time. I would appreciate your prayers for my discernment over these next two years. God bless you both.

I’m an ex Mormon looking into joining the Catholic Church. Thank you very much for this episode!! God bless

Pretty interesting interview.

Really enjoyed this. I really relate to coming to the Catholic faith and feeling that wholeness. Like this isn't just patched together.
Great video!
wonderful interview, thank you both
Thanks for listening
God bless you both. Great interview. I'm praying God will use Jared to bring many LDS youth into the one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic church.
Thanks for watching! I agree, I think Jared will have a very fruitful apostolate!

Not sure; looks like he may be married; he has a ring on his finger.

Pints of Aquinas, Matt Fradd may want to interview you? He likes getting Mormon converts on his show
True, refuses to interview active Mormons. Why is that that 🤔?
President Nelson met the Pope and called him your 'Holiness' . Very interesting
All protestants believe in the trinity😂😂

Recent surveys show 30% of evangelicals don’t believe Jesus is God, and they are the largest Protestant group in America.
