when I turn on the car, the screen is completely black. The system still works in the background (e.g., the radio plays), but the screen doesn’t display anything. I’ve already tried disconnecting the battery and waiting for 20 minutes, but if this doesn’t work, I don’t know what else to do. Could you, or anyone here, please help me figure out how to fix this? I’m stuck, and I don’t want to take it to the dealership unless it’s the only option. Thanks in advance!
Hey man - thanks for sharing your journey with AIO on 74.00.324. Can you confirm whether this fixes the broken compass that is on the far left circular display (when enabling the touchscreen at any speed, this compass usually gets broke)? I see that it works if you run the speedometer app on the CMU display, but I'm curious if the left side circular instrument cluster display compass gets restored to functioning...
v56.00.104 I can't get past opening the USB, I can see my mx5 trying to play the mp3 files but the terminal never opens. It just loops through all the mp3 'songs' and that's it. How do I fix this? Did exactly what you've done and already did a factory reset to no avail.
Since you are on the older version you may need two updates. Please look on Miata forums. I do know that Mazda updated the newer versions to only need one update file. forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?p=11011594#post11011594
Thanks for the video. Did the update and the tweaks.
@@newtypeJP thanks for your support. Did the speedometer app work for you?

Where is the compass? I never looked at it on the screen before?

The first download link no longer works. Would I need them for a 2015 Mazda 3 with version 70?
@bowie2004 unfortunately I'm not sure. It's up to you if you try it.
How do you go about typing in the command for the terminal?
You plug in a USB keyboard.
