Went through constant struggle with barbers/hair stylists. I'd say "high fade" but I'm going out my hair on top. Always lead to of course them going way too high and then leaving my bangs to grow which left my hair completely uneven. Disconnected, undercut, blended pompadour, so important to have communication.
How high did you go up the back ?
i have this but i want to cut the back part shorter and layered so i can have that more 50's look with it up and almost a victory oll on top

The undercut is so high it’s like a Mohawk now it comes to a fake widows peak. I hate it especially when I put my hair up in a bun. Thc

Yes, I've had it cut way too high multiple times by multiple people. It takes months to grow back and fix. Nowadays I don't even bother with this haircut anymore lmao

As much as I enjoy your videos I don't like haircuts this short. I'm still suffering from haircut regret since Monday. It makes me nervous when the shaver comes out.

Is a wax safe to use, can it damage hair like gel?
Wax is safe. I would suggest Clay tho. Clays sometimes are more nourishing for your hair and have much better hold and texture.
