I always liked Evil dead for their artwork, I randomly bought underworld when I was 15 because I liked the cover, and upon playing the album, I found out that it’s top notch thrash. This time their album cover is even better, with a great message. Looking forward to buy the album on LP and maybe cassette if it gets a cassette release. Cheers and love from Greece
Preaching water, drinking wine. Having your song carry such message while you promote it on social media platforms is extremely stupid. Hypocrisy aside, this somehow has even less power than the previous record. This isn't a mature sound like Atrophy's, this is tired cannon fodder thrash for people with no standards. Do better.
Just because you don't like the song or its message, doesn't invalidate this song. You've missed the point that people only care about clout and likes. Promoting your products (in this case, music) on social media is not the same man. It's a sign of the times.
@@Swamplord How is it not the same? Aren't they trying to do the exact same thing the numbnut influencers are doing? Only difference is that bands promote their music while influencers promote their own brand. It circles back to them trying to get "clout" or "reach" so more people will listen to it, more people will know about it etc etc. It's not even that I don't like the message, but it comes off as very out of touch old-man-yells-at-cloud situation. On a final note, far be it from me to try to invalidate the song, but it just doesn't sound good to me. It is completely devoid of any energy the exact same way Destruction's, Xentrix's or Sacred Reich's albums have been the last 25 years and I'm tired of nostalgia baiting when the music is just rehashed riffs you have heard millions of times. Everybody has the right to enjoy whatever they want and like this song/record, but if you think this'll even nearly have the staying power of the debut or any of the better thrash records of the 2000s, you are lying to yourself.
