@@BareBritainAudits Thats how I was made redundant. Worked In Greens Bedding sold all sorts Bedding,curtains,towels much more we would have queues down the aisles . It was quaint old fashioned newspapers while the husbands waited,sometimes customers get tea or coffee. Yes we were slightly more expensive but you got a service,had a chat with the customers. The very Day Dunnelm opened up the road killed us very sad. My favourite job only there 8 years first job after being mummys carer for 12 years. So important to support your local shops.

Wow. I don't agree with the war against Russia. Ukraine could have had peace if they wanted, NATO wants to turn it into a proxy war with Russia. AND we (the government) are spending money on supporting Ukraine when there is a cost of living crisis and people can't even afford their food or energy. It's really stupid. This country spends too much on helping other countries and on the migrants and on stupid wars that we should not be involved in.

Interesting business owner by the way. In the town where I currently live there used to be a man who ran an outdoor shop, but when I talked to him he said he had gone years without any holidays to be able to enjoy the outdoors himself. Presumably he had to do that to keep running the store. I can't remember properly now, but he might have said it was 15 years with no holiday. Later on it was shut down, so I don't know what he did after that. He had some good products that he was selling, that were not too expensive but still good - good value in other words.
It doesn't help with the drug store next to b&m where all the drug users go
