I am using the headrush 108 speakers with the fm3. Most of the sounds seem too distorted or bass heavy. A friend tried to eq them in my room with music, it got a bit better. I tried low cut and high cut in the amp blocks, input trim..... Can't get it to sound right. Do you think I need to add a parametric eq like in your tutorial to dial it in properly.? I see a lot of people complaining about a muddy sound, I think eq for the frfr speakers might be the solution. Any input would be great. Love your playing and channel
Are the MF10’s better than the Friedman ASC-10’s? The Friedmans seem to have the most love from users.
Hello Leon, I am using the axe fx3 and uses the Ourput 3 direct into the MF10. But the level from output 3 is too low. So I have to set a EQ in front of the output3 in the Layout of the axe-FX3. With it I set the Level on 18db and that works. I have already ask the support of G66. They said the Output 3 is not for the external MF10, I have to use the Output2. But I run my acoustic Guitar to output2 and my E-guitar to Output1. So I have to use the Output3 or 4 for the MF10.
Have you got a solution for this „problem“?

Hi Buddy amazing videos thank you ok. I can connect the avion inear system to the Kemper Stage {mini jack to avion headphone jack to kemper return L-R }to listen to the seq or tracks "for church or live perf" so i can listen exactly my guitar setup the way i set it up at home and it sounds the same because i plug my inears to the Kemper instead of the Avion System, can we do the same thing with the FM3? please say yesssss and show us 🤞Thank you in advance
Hi from Belgium Leon, I see in your clip that you put the volume at maximum on the MF-10. Is it better to put it at max and adjust with the output knobs? And you select the Output level at +4DB, right? So, this is the ultimate settings with FRFR's?
Totally up to you, in my experience it doesn't make a massive difference to the end result. It's easier to reach down to my FM3 than reach around the speaker.

Leon, good day to you. So.. I just purchased a FM3 unit and should have it Monday or Tuesday. I currently don’t have a FRFR but I have 3 different speaker cabinets. Can the fractal FM3 be used with a normal speaker Cab? Honestly not having the unit in my head makes me feel overwhelmed on where to even start, but if you could answer that question that will help me get goin in the direction I need to go. Thanks man.
You'll need some kind of power amp to use it with a guitar amp - running it into the fx return of a head will work fine!
I know I’m late to the party but I had a question and was wondering if anyone can help me, I have 2 headrush 112’s frfr do I set the output 1 to -10dbv or +4dbu I’m not sure if those are considered pro level or consumer level like manual says. I’m really confused as to what I should set the output
Hi Leon, did you prefer/recommend to use the OUT2 JACK for FRFR speaker instead of OUT1 XLR?
Depends on what cables you have access to at any one time. I'd usually go XLR to FOH and out2 to mons though.
Your thoughts compared to the clr's?
The big, obvious advantage is when running stereo you only need a single active and single passive speaker so they're a lot lighter. In terms of overall volume and punch they both measure up very well IMO
Have you had the opportunity to compare these to the Elis.8 pair?
Hey LT. Is there a way with the FM3 (or FM9) to send a cab and power amp simulated feed to FOH, as well as line level without power amp amd cab sim to a head (or valve power amp) and quad?
You'll need to run 2 seperate amps to do this, so FM9 will do it
hey Leon do you have to add the number 2 out block in your chain? when you're running XLR out 1 to the mains and then number 2 out to your FRFR cabinets?
You can just set output 2 to mirror output 1

Leon, how does the mf 10" compare to the head rush 12" at the moment I am using two head rush 12" just curious thanks
In my experience the MF10 sounds a little more like a good set of studio monitors (just way louder) while the HR has that "PA Speaker" sound about it. Probably due to the tweeter design and cab construction?
