But in the anime they are not in Japan,like Mikasa Ackerman.Ackerman is Mikasa's last name and Mikasa is her name so, Hange is their name and Zoe is their last name too.
When you are not sure if a character is he or she, just look at the info page of that nendoroid on the GSC website, there is always a description where you can find it. 🙂 I'm doing it from time to time when I don't know the anime/manga.

For me, it dosent matter if it had a purpose for zeke and eren since its pretty much selfish he basically forced her into that... For me, it ruined the whole plot.

hange is a woman in the anime but non-binary in the manga ❤️ (bon binary people go by they/them)
but most people do prefer to refer to them by they/them because the manga is ofcourse the official source
