the everyday videos are such a treat! and to see the channel grow is amazing, and well deserved, congrats on a thousand subs! we have been also enjoying maddie's videos a lot, and what the two of you are doing is really cool and we are thankful! can't wait to see you in comps soon, and the world cups next season! it is so much fun when you get to know the athletes and their training a bit!
Wow that means a lot! 🙏 So glad you appreciate the content :) For sure!! Got some comps coming up soon, and another local event that I added in, which isn’t shown in the program yet!
Hi! I'm a new subscriber and really liking your videos. I found your channel when I searched for my local indoor gym. For me this channel is filling that niche of indoor bouldering that Magnus's channel used to be focused on, so that's really cool. Keep up the great work!
Good point on choosing a variety of boulders for drills. The only hindrance is that you have to find the least crowded time-slots in the gym to manage that, which unfortunately pushes me to stick with board climbing for my 4x4s or pyramids.
Yeah that’s a good point, I’m lucky to be able to train in the middle of the day and avoid peak hours. But if the gym is busy training endurance is harddd
@@richardsonsclimbing Yeah my home gym (Element) gets jampacked during peak hours. Can't complain though, at least there's Kilter boards and a spray wall to work with.
Hey man, great vid as usual! I was wondering, what’s your opinion on weight in climbing, specifically, do you stay at the same weight year-round or do you go to a lighter/heavier weight for competitions/performance (if so, how did you find your ideal weight)? Idk if you’re willing to or interested in sharing some diet related stuff but it might be interesting (if you've not done so already.
Thanks! Yeah my opinion on weight is that there is no one-rule-fits all approach, and it really varies from person to person. I myself have such a strong metabolism that I can eat a bunch of crap and burn it off like it’s nothing. I tried cutting in the past and it was so hard for basically no gain (I always find myself hovering at 150lb). Meanwhile Maddie has to cut like crazy and does intermittent fasting (eats only from 10am to 5pm) in order to find her best shape. So I think you really just have to find what works best for you!
Yeah I forgot to mention that lol it’s kind of important 4 minutes between boulders, I mention/explain the rationale in the next episode I do endurance
You’ve gained like 500 subscribers in a month, and you deserve every single one.
Also thanks so much for the feature in the video! Just saw that now
Hopefully rolling thunder works as well for you as it did for me 🤞🤞🤞
I bet you that you’ll have 3k subs come Christmas
Haha thank you 🙏 that really means a lot :)

How long do you rest inbetween the reps? So once you've done 4 of 1 boulder.
Yeah I forgot to mention that lol it’s kind of important
