Do people want her to say the price so she can endure another round of comments telling her how cheap it is in places she doesn't want to live in just so they can bash London prices. A person who loves West London or Kensington really isn't trying to live somewhere cheap.
Legit, no one wants to live in your 50 bedroom house in Liverpool mate that you're renting for £1.75/month. There's a reason people want to live in LONDON specifically and not anywhere else!
I remember I used to binge watch Taz's videos when I come back from a stressful day in senior year of high school. Now I'm in my third year in Uni and it warms my heart so much that I got to watch Taz's progress in her videos. Love ya, Taz! Congratulations on the new apartment! Stay safe 🫶🏻
Minimalist and Mid-Century Modern is right thou, I think. But there is only retro Mid-Century so far, I haven't seen anything really vintage. It is definetly not Bauhaus, as they allways used color for the interior walls. Only the outside was completly white.
Not Art-Deco at all, but the rest is right. In terms of space usage, there's also a bit of the Bauhaus way of thinking, though the visual style isn't like Bauhaus at all.
I‘m SO SO proud of you and to be part of your journey. The first video I watched was Moon eating fruits.. HILARIOUS and that was 8!!!! years ago. You’ve already come so far and you’ve got such a bright future ahead of you, sweetheart. Much love.
I have a surgery tomorrow morning and all I'm doing is binge watching your videos to relax myself ❤️ thank you for existing and sharing your life with us
I've been watching Taz's videos since 5yrs ago, and like how someone else mentioned in the comments, it's so refreshing to watch her videos :)) Everytime I feel stressed, after school or now university (wow time flies), her videos just relaxed me! Keep going Taz, you're helping a lot of people and hope you realise you are a gem !
This is perfect timing because I was just watching your packing up vlog (on your other channel) and this just popped up. The apartment looks phenomenal
i just ADORE the storage in the staircase!! i love functional features such as that that take advantage of making more space out of what's already used :)
As you can see into the living room from the kitchen I suggest you put the TV on the low shelf between the cupboards. So you can watch from the living room as well as from the kitchen. I used to do my meal prep on the sofa and it is so relaxing! But it also slows youndown a bit. 😅 For the stool: I use it for clothes I want to wear again. 🍀
Omg watching you grow really puts me into perspective. I've had a kind of rough start to life and I'm working so much to be independent, have my own place, grow just like you. I really admire you and i want someday to have my own flat/home like you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the inspiration ❤❤❤
Hey Taz im so happy for you ! Concerning the kitchen, i remember that in your very firsts flat hunting videos, having a closed kitchen was one of your criteria ! It’s funny how that changed now bc i remember you were very adamant about it!
Hi Taz, love this whole modern mid century asthetic house for ya. I think you can put the TV next to the black chair under the big white canvas, since there's a platform there. Its close to the sofa as well. You'd prob have to move the canvas tho.
I use to watch you when you had 30k subscribers like when you still lived in Cardiff, thought id check in and omg youre doing so well these days! I hope youre doing well :)
I'm surprised you didn't pick the largest South Kensington studio that had a balcony, because you love to spend all your time in your bedroom :) As for the TV, I think the most "comfortable" place would be to put it where that grey chair is (if you have a small piece of furniture to stand the TV on), and I'd move the grey chair closer to the sofa so that you can use it as a footstool? x
I love this sort of kitchen with a window into the living space. I currently have an open plan kitchen/living room and, while it’s nice sometimes, can be claustrophobic when my roommate has a friend or her bf over. Probably would love it more if i lived alone but would prefer more of a closed off space!
The problem with open plan is a few things, if you a love of soft furnishings suede velvet fabric sofas cushions window dressing they will absolutely smell horrendous, unless you splurge with your extractor fan for your cooker if your doing open plan splurge buy the highest quality one your money can buy , then there’s the decibels the sound appliances make opt for quiet appliances dishwasher wash machine fridge etc and the extractor fan opt for the quietest models or , open plan is ruined if those things are done poorly However open plan works beautifully when you do these things efficiently and effectively.
I'm team kitchen being in it's own room, but it can be openish like it is in this super cool place. I love the new flat and all the cool storage. Maybe the TV could go on the ledge where the fireplace would have been.
I was so excited that I liked the video before watching it lol. The house is stunning, it feels super homie and calming yet modern and functional. I hope you enjoy every moment in it
If you're architecture enthusiastic or overall decor person, knowing what suits you and you vibe matters. End of the day is your own preference. I love the open concept kitchen, smell are easy to get way through window and air conditioning anyways. If you scared of heavily smell use candles, smell infusers, or anything that can absorbs the awful smells away from your space.
about the topic of open kitchen it is really cool for hosting other guest but sometimes when you cook the smoke is really the problem or the smell. thats why others hate it
Hi Taz, I'm sure I saw you on the central line yesterday afternoon (I won't give away location). Wanted to come and say hello but obviously I bottled it! Congrats on the new place.
Lovely looking apartment, and it's great that it came furnished. I'm just not overly sure I'd be keen or comfortable living somewhere where the owner/previous tenants have left personal belongings.. the books, music, artwork, etc.
hello, hello, that low window it's so cuuute =) yes that straw basket is for laundry. So, you need to keep hunting as that one is for summer only. Good luck, fingers crossed you find a cool, cosy new place =) good night
I think your apartment is considered "small". In Australia everyone has large houses, where many have these open spaces that make it feel a lot more empty and souless. Your apartment has an open space but it seems very cosy - I love it!
Apart from the galley kitchen (love the gas hob tho!), I think this apartment is phenomenal! Ok, it's got a very 'bachelor-pad' feel but I love how much storage it has & how the space has been utilised ❤
So the problem with open kitchens is when more than one person is living there, someone is banging, clanging and sizzling away, whilst someone else is trying to read or watch tv etc. SUPER annoying.
Appliances and white goods are another one. You don't want to be trying to chill out with some TV in your open plan space, while the dishwasher is gurgling and choking or the washing machine is shaking itself to bits.
If no one has suggested it yet, I would say to get/diy if you can an easel tv stand on wheels that you can conveniently move anywhere and would also match the vibes going on in the space
Even though the living room is artsy it’s not you xxx you would need to rearrange the living space. I would mount the tv on the wall where the leather sofa is, and get rid of artsy furniture add a L shap sofa so you can watch tv and have the light of the window.
She is only renting, you would have to store the furniture to put back before you leave, and she already has a couch in her other home so it seems like a huge cost for a few months
Congratulations on the new place! I couldn’t live in a place with other peoples personal possessions in it eg cds books etc. I could take a partly furnished flat but no personal belongings in it. I’d still like to put my own stamp on it. ❤🥰
Low rise windoes are everything in apartment.. i love it too. Its such a nice feature to have.. specially near by bed that window view.. the most comforting place in home 😁💖
About the kitchen: i love it separately but it is important to have space in the kitchen for some friends to sit down - so we can talk and drink something while cooking. 😊🤩
it seems likely that she will move back to her old place, as her reason for moving is renovation works on the building. i would love a renovation series too, though!
Can you tell us a bit more about the living situation? Where did you choose, how much? And also why are there other peoples belongings there is it an annexe? X😊
get a fitueyes tv stand, could be a little bit high for how low the sofa is but its a big game changer!! could also just spin it around to use it from kitchen whilst u cook
Wow this place is so much better than the ones you viewed in your other video. I’d love to live somewhere with so much storage it’s what my house lacks which isn’t great with 5 of us
We’re moving into a flat from a house (with a lot of storage) in just over two weeks and the amount of work I’m having to do on top of College, work experience and a few other things is insane
I don't mind open plan but if the washing machine/dryer is in the kitchen then I like to have a door between the spaces to block off some of the noise!
Wow you made me realize why I hate “open plan” concept without me knowing why before ! I like the separation of rooms because it gives me as an introvert somewhere to go hide especially when guests are over 😂
I feel like you could place the tv to the right side of the sofa, below the picture frame. So when you're cooking in the kitchen you could still watch the tv.
I feel like open plan just makes your space seem larger and lighter. But as someone who grew up with a lot of people and an open plan, sometimes frying things would frustrate people trying to watch tv. Or simply you accidentally burning something and the smell being in the whole entertainment area
Is it just me, or is it weird that there is so much stuff that belongs to the owner… like where are you supposed to put your own stuff and decor in the living room if all the shelves are already full 😅
The fridge seems so small and you might consider to get a small microwave in the future taz. Also, might consider to hang the tv on a wall to save up on space
I am totally team separate kitchen, as I tend to use many utensils and pile used ones up while cooking. On the other hand I sometimes are in the kitchen to long while having the guests over allready.

If you can afford it then you deserve it. 4k in, 2k out on rent. Simple
On rent or buying you mean? When buying I would always go for the most expensive one I can afford so it can increase more too
@@quantumsystems9382As someone who recently bought a very cheap house in Liverpool - this feels targeted
Who cares about the rent she's paying. No one else is paying it. People are sad

omg that's exactly what I was telling to myself while watching this video. Everyone grew up haha
literally ! her videos helps my stress so much :))
The decor is a cross between, Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern and Minimalist.
I like an open plan.
Congrats on the new place👍🏻
there is nothing art deco about this place
Minimalist and Mid-Century Modern is right thou, I think. But there is only retro Mid-Century so far, I haven't seen anything really vintage. It is definetly not Bauhaus, as they allways used color for the interior walls. Only the outside was completly white.

I caught the mid century modern since the house I was born in was that design.

The new place looks really good.

I think you should put the tv under the big art piece that way you can see the tv while you cook!
There are definitely some mid century modern vibes, but not the American kind, the continental European one. The chair in the living room is Artifort.
congrats, this is such interesting and unique apartment, I hope you'll make great memories there!
the vibes are sooo on point 😍
open plan seems fine when you live alone occasionally have guests over, but imagine liviing with other people and being watched in the kitchen
This is 100% the thing. Not being able to get away from others sometimes can be rough!
maybe put some cosy blankets and more pillows on the sofa to make it more inviting :)
Congrats on your new home. 🎉 Always glad I clicked for Taz. 😊
So the problem with open kitchens is when more than one person is living there, someone is banging, clanging and sizzling away, whilst someone else is trying to read or watch tv etc. SUPER annoying.
Yep I agree. I'm also not a fan of everything smelling of food if you cook regularly. And you can't just shut the door if you have a couple of dishes.
The place looks tiny so that issue will exist there no matter what
Appliances and white goods are another one. You don't want to be trying to chill out with some TV in your open plan space, while the dishwasher is gurgling and choking or the washing machine is shaking itself to bits.
