Sometimes the best part of these challenges is seeing how far they can reach to try and justify a catch
They start bringing up the most random things and say yup that fits the theme

@@SoufCentral I mean I don’t even think any pokemon in the game are “classified” as orange. They get called red yellow or brown so that challenge was going to be like that anyways haha
Tbh, Torcoal as a chimney makes way more sense than bisharp as a nutcracker

Missed opportunities spotted: Luxray is a sparkly Christmas star, Galarian Wheezing would be a better fireplace mon than Torkoal, and Sudowoodo is a Yule log. I would argue that Togekiss being the Jubilee pokemon makes it holiday celebration themed. The whole island of Japan eats KFC for Christmas so Blaziken totally counts (plus "3 french hens" works if "8 maids a milking" does.) And speaking of song lyrics, how about "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" for that Hippowdon?
When he mentions “French Hens” right after Blaziken was skipped…coulda been a solid justification for a Christmas chicken😂

Fun fact, KFC has become the traditional Christmas meal in Japan, and you have to put your order in way ahead of time to make sure you get it (like in early November). KFC does about a third of all its sales in Japan on Christmas and a few days before it. So... that actually would have worked really well 😂

Bisharp makes me think of the toy soldiers from Babes in Toyland so def Christmas. I'd also like to add that I could easily see torkoal being used like a fireplace in the Pokemon Universe during the winter time so it's pretty safe to say it's a Christmas season Pokemon
When Quick went for the recharge move I was convinced Chillin was going to get the mamo sweep. Of course if anyone could eat a super effective physical move, it's torkoal, but that had to be a roll. Happy holidays everyone

Bisharp reminds me more of a toy soldier than anything. Which if you wanted to be really really really really really really cheesy you could say any of the Pokémon you see can be a Christmas Pokémon since they pretty much all have plushies you can buy and then give or receive as a gift for Christmas.
Also Galarian Weezing wouldn’t have been a bad choice since he basically has a top hat which is reminiscent of Victorian London which is one of the most popular locations for Christmas stories such as A Christmas Carol

Catch two teams worth of random encounters. Create two teams how you choose. Best of three tournament. You must use both teams at least once. No skips. Might be a longer vid but could be a fun one.
