- In this video I am out in the field with a Darke County Ohio Farm as they harvest their 2022 wheat crop. In the video you will see their new Claas Lexion 8600 combine with a MacDon FD145 Flex Draper head in action.

Claas Lexion combines are probably my favorite. They look amazing.
Claas combines are impressive machines👍😉 great video👍
Love your videos you cover agriculture In the United States better than any one else 👍👍👍
Hi Mike great video as always.. just to say I don’t think much of his chaff spreader, it puts the chaff into 2rows and I wonder if it was wet it would attract the slugs. But hope your well and keep sending them over the pond here as well all love them and how you narrative on the videos is great also.
All the best from Stu.
Why are we putting the swaths into the tire/tracks? More passes, and harder to pick up
GREAT video, nice seeing other brand machines out in the field doing the harvesting..... 🙂👍🙏🤞
Ain't that shiny new Claas perty! ✅✅
I didn't know you were giving away prizes Mike!? Is it a spiffy new car!?!? 🚙🚙🚙🤣
Viewing from London UK. Love it as always. Maybe a few longer binge type harvest videos during the season would be nice. Thank you.
Another great video Mike! Looking forward to the next one!
Well great job again Mike. Those foreign colors look good in our American fields after all,ha ha just joking.Great machine and pretty wheat.Survived the wind and very clean.God bless you all!
Nice Lexion !! Those things can really eat the corn . Wheat too .
Good work Farmhand Mike especially the sound 👏
Great video like to see the new classe lexion combines
Love the Wheat Harvest! Great Work!
The Lexion is a sexy one! 😉
Thanks a lot for the video! 😊👍🏻
That Claas combine is really nice combine! Maybe one day i can be rich and buy a new one 😹
Great vídeo Mike.
The back 40. Good to see you. Again. :)
Nice looking crop and nice looking machinery. How about some shots of harvesting sugar cane in Florida? I was a cane producer here in Aus for many years, would like to see how you do it in the US. Regards from Down Under.
very nice video and machine thank you
Wow.......that's some really nice looking wheat. That's quite a combine as well. I'm thinking they had Claas before only they were the yellow/black because of the color on the header. Appreciate the video Mike.
Claas no longer offer the cat yellow equipment in North America. Too bad I love the Caterpillar colors way more than claas green and grey .
Yes their last Claas Lexion was a yellow one. I have a video on my channel of it doing wheat and another in corn from a few years ago.
SUPER!!!
Parabéns

Paráda! 🙂

👍👍👍
I have not seen the combine toss the discharge to right and left and leave the area behind the combine clear before. Are they going to bale that area on the right and left?
Just wondering 🤔. I like Mike. Like 👍 #550. Thanks for sharing again. Happy subscriber 😊!
They are not going to bale the straw in this field.
Our grain buggy goes out every time to keep the combine going in the wheat
Straw and chaff spreading need a bunch of improvement!
New sub! Liked 🙏🌙❄️😘🥶
That GMO wheat sure does grow short before full ripening. I was almost wondering if the header had been lifted up higher until I saw the ground level shot.
Uhhhhh.... there is no such thing as GMO wheat, they tried glysophate resistant wheat once but canned the idea, all wheat grown is non GMO.
Isn't the MAN D26 a 12.4 L?
Nice machine! I like those colors a lot better than the Cat yellow, but I still think the wheels should be either the green or the white, or a combination of both. The red just looks out of place, traditional or not.
No they should be red, also the reel on the header should be red as we have it in Europe :)
@@tsint But we ain't in europe! LOL
@@404nitro but it is a European combine
@@Zero01k Owned by an American company and made in America.
@@404nitro it’s most definitely not owned by an American company what the frick are you talking about.
Newbie here. Why don't they cut closer to the ground?
They don't use the straw, only the grain itself. Cutting closer to the ground will only make the combine have to work harder for no gain, having to chop more straw than it does now, while not getting more grain out of it.
I imagine if they were to bale the straw, they would cut closer so they get the most straw out of it, but as you can see here, it chops and spreads it.
Now did they bail that up???
They did not bale the straw in this field.
Why dont they use the straw?
The wheat straw is going back on the ground for organic matter. Unless you have livestock and need the straw for bedding its best to just leave it in the field.
Почему срез такой высокий?
I like Mike less videos on UA-cam from the imperial co California.
Hello! That straw spreader is not doing a proper job!
Doesn’t spread straw full width of header
with a header that size no combine brand does.
On purpose 🙈
@@Erik-ce3hq we spread 40ft no problem with our claas. That chopper/spreader is not setup properly. Probably not enough wheat to cut for them to set it properly for the crop/conditions. I was blown away by how well our machine spreads it.
@@Erik-ce3hq the JD X9 has no problem spreading straw 50ft wide. So this argument is wrong.
@@egomania2792 I question everything people tell me about the X9, I haven't heard too many positive remarks about them, and this is from the die hard koolaid drinkers
.
that chopper is doing an absolutely terrible job spreading the straw...... very weird
