I voted for her in the 2020 primary and wanted her as Prez and Kamala as VP. Sometimes dreams come true, maybe not exactly what you want but close enough.
I wanted her to be President in the year she ran! If only she had been. So good to see her getting the credit she deserves. Absolutely love her. I grew up in the blue-est state in the country, in a dyed-in-the-wool conservative, libertarian/republican family and community. Have swung pretty much to the opposite pole of the pendulum at this point. What I see that the entire political spectrum holds in common is that the majority are people who feel they are used and unheard and unheeded by a self-enriching elite. The polarizing dimension is simply whom we regard as constituting the overlording elite, and what we think should be done to make things more fair.
I don't doubt she had (and has!) what it takes to be an amazing president, but to not have her free to speak her mind where and how the world has needed her wisdom, frankness and insight may well have been too much of a loss.
