@@Bassingtons i think he's saying it's gonna fall some more. And not only dealers having too much inventories. Buyers who bought into the "investment" hype by UA-cam Rolex gang will be trying to unlaod as well.
Missed this and other videos. Catching up on NYD. You have made at least one prescient call regarding the Rolex market. I don't think the after market for Rolex or any other luxury watches has bottomed out. My uneducated guess and sixth sense (which is completely unreliable) is that there is still some downward movement. Of course, this is only an issue for the dealers themselves and those trying to time the market for investment purposes. I fit into neither category as I buy watches to enjoy them.
I went to an AD a day ago and they had a huge stock of used Rolex. They only had display only models of new watches (except the two tone explorer I, that was for sale). The sales person took me to the used counter. I didn’t buy. I don’t do sloppy seconds, and there are too many fake Rolex watches for my comfort level. In addition I don’t want to feed the flipper beast.
Go to HK, sg and Japan they're soo common in small retail shops. Those UA-cam hypers flippers should be so proud now they've led many innocent people to the slaughterhouse who bought the investment angle bs.
Just subscribed! I very rarely do that. 👍 Check out display windows in hk, sg and jp..mom and pop shops have those so called rare models. And for locals they even offer installments! Ppl should have a wider perspective, it's a big world out there. Glad you're not like those hypers flippers posing as reviewers experts. 👍
I really don’t care about grey market prices as I will only buy list. List will never bottom out IMO. Would you buy a DeepSea Challenge if you got the call?
I think the bigger question is what comes after it Bottoming out? Where will it go from there? The only way is back up I guess? Are all you guys in the comments currently going to fill your boots? Which pieces are you going to get? I would only buy list so it’s all completely irrelevant to me.
Ahhh not me! Hahaha loving Omega now! Even at list no Rolex. Don't attack me ok??? You're mean to many but kinda cool to me on several channels here.. Hahaha Best regards
So Omega, Tag, and Gucci shop window banditos are all putting their prices up again, and you think cash rich, do what they like, no shareholders, Rolex are going to offer me the Batman I don’t think I will ever get, at a discount in 5 months time 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Alfie AKA Ronaldog Rolex is not a public company. They all can raise their prices all they want. It doesn't mean they'll get it. They don't set prices, the buyer sets the price...always.
Would have been interesting to hear what you guess is based on. Personally i don't see any reasons for the market to stop falling by the end november.
Dealers have way too much stock!

@@Mega-zi7ys Yes that is what I am saying. Yes I agree with you, when you that those who bought doing the "investment" hype will unload too!
Love your demeanor!... level headed.
Thank you.

All the same here in America. Rolex 2nd hand stores here in Los Angeles, are having huge mark downs. Especially at Crown and Caliber.
The bubble may not have truly burst, but it has certainly deflated!
@@Bassingtons Correct.
@@watchesandcoins.7738 Many thanks.
You have called it correctly a number of times 👏 Do you have a tailors shop at all - I would be interested in visiting. Thanks
Many thnaks. No, I work from home and visit all over the country.

The bottom of the market for Rolex will be around April of '23 and you will be able to buy them at a discount from AD's.
Dream on 😂
I hope so!

No! The bottom has yet to come.
Exactly!
@@Bassingtons do you foresee the Pepsi on an oyster coming down to retail levels anytime soon?
Rolex will raise the MSRP up to 3 times a year so good luck at waiting, just buy one when you feel it's affordable
