Water for Women - Umerkot Solar Water Plant

Nestled near Umerkot in Sindh, Megwarh is a village with a rich history but a pressing need for clean water. In a bid to help this resilient community, we installed a solar-powered water filtration plant in the area, providing 1,000 liters of clean water per hour, under our Water for Women Program.🚰
We recently visited Megwarh to engage with the community and witness the positive changes firsthand, accompanied by our employees and partners. It was truly inspiring to see the joy of the residents as they shared their stories and experiences.🤝🌟
No more 5km+ scorching walks to fetch water for the local women, now more than 800 households can access clean water right in their village. 🌞💧
