Bought a new 2019 Corvette Grand Sport, with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION, and it’s a great car! Huge power, fantastic handling, and with the magnetic ride control, the car goes from track stiff to cruising smooth in an instant. My wife even asks when we can go for drives in the Grand Sport, and that rarely happens with my NSX. Buy one, if at all possible, life is short.
I have been a fan of the Corvette Stingray ever since I was a kid, and my uncle had one he would take my cousin and i out for rides and I absolutely fell in love with the vette. I think a Z06 is in my future!!
It's a world class car. Emphases on class. Some of us have it and some of us don't. For those that don't it's a POS, for those that do, enough cannot be said. It's a Chevrolet and it's made in America. What else need's to be said. That says it all.
I love Z07; Corvette. I love the arrow the dental force of this car is tremendous one of the best years and best Corvettes ever. It's worth buying Z06 or Z07 Corvette!

C7 Stingray looks brilliant even the convertible, i don't usually like convertibles but this is awesome. The design and performance are fantastic, the Europeans cars should look to this if they want a head turner.
Gosh, I really like the Z06. I currently own a Hellcat and while it's my dream car, at some point I will have to get another car and will really suck to be getting cars with less hp, lol (first World problems) but i would happily go for a Z06. Mostly likely used as new is still costly. I got my Hellcat used with only 1059 miles on it, so you can find gems on any car you want if you reserarch and look carefully.
I wonder why no mention is made, in most of these reviews, of the overheating issue that everyone is saying these Z-cars experience after only a few full blast laps at the track? All feedback that was ever given at the rollout of the 2015 Z06 by all the journalists was praise. That is fine, but I would've liked to hear the cons of tracking the car too. I wonder if Chevy either only let everyone spin 1-2 laps at most or just brought a fleet of Z06s so that no one would see the heat-soak issue in any particular car? I am a new owner of a very gently used low-mile 2016 Z06 and am already pre-emptively planning. I'm already looking at the GMPP auxiliary radiator, and/or a bigger full size radiator, and/or a replacement Magnuson 2.4L S/C, all down the road.

All 2009 Zo6 & ZR1s have a horrible issue with engine implosions. Look at the thousands of reviews in consumer forums. Even if the car is babied the engine will implode

I bought a new 2017 Z06 with the seven speed manual back in February. The best one tank average I've achieved was 14.6 mpg according to the computer. However, my overall average since new is currently sitting at 11.8 mpg.
My average on a automatic 2017 with 1300 miles is almost 22 mpg. I tend to hammer it. I didn't even know it had limits to the tachometer in break in. I have a 2017 911 as a daily driver and I only average 20 mpg. wtf Porsche didn't get a gas guzzler charge. I love the Porsche enough that I would pay it BUT why charge the Z06 imo.
Odd my friend has a zo6 with 8sd and took it to the drag 0-60 2.9 and 3 seconds, quarter mile passes where the GTR is slower, 10.9@127 and a 11.1@125 so it's the better deal and it comes as a convertible so have fun with your GTR, not to mention the new ZR1 Zora. The GTR loses value faster anyways, why would you buy a GTR when a Z28 is faster? The 2012 GTR 2.7 sec 0-60 but like 11.3 QM, 2015 GTR nismo 0-60 2.9 sec QM 11.1 price 150K new 2015 zo6 78K-120K.

News flash. This one does have a motor. The all mighty "mouse motor". His great grandpa had the original mouse motor and they were stoked as it made a lil over 1 hp per cu. in. Wheeee. This mouse got some 21 century steroids where the baby mouse gets 1.4 hp per cu in. and the mouse with the leaf blower comes in just under 2 hp per cu in. and they both have manners. They start cold and idle smoothly and step out on the open road and threaten 30 miles to the gallon all day long. And if you so desire, will scare the livin shit out of any rational human being with half a brain. I guess super mouse and mighty mouse are one in the same now.

Lol. There weren't issues with blown engines with the C7 Z06s. The C6 Z06 LS7 engine had the blown engine problem by dropping valves. As for the C7 Z06 overheating issue that was overblown. It mainly happened with some 2015 & 2016 Z06s w/automatics which were tracked. There wasn't an overheating issue on the street. GM modified the supercharger lid & intercooler brick orientation on the Z06s starting with the 2017 models. GM also made this change - "In addition, for manual transmissions, we have adapted the horizontal, “lay down” cooler used to remove heat from the automatic transmission for additional cooling in the engine coolant circuit."

2012 GTR: 2.8 0-60.... Actual C7 Z06: 3.3 auto, 3.6 stick. And that 12' GTR is $70k, with dealers not letting a new Z06 go for under 90 to 110k.
