Hey Carl and Alex, i have an idea to dig a nature pool by 30x30 meters, 2 meter deep, would it be enough for some carps to have around. I was thinking to buy about 100 carps 5 lbs each and release it there.

If they really cared about fish they wouldnt go fishing. No fisherman really cares that much about fish. Making a fish swim a marathon, then taking it out of the water into an environment it cant breathe in, to unhook a sharp piece of steel they embedded into its mouth isnt caring. I'm a fisherman myself and worked in the aquatics industry for years and I can tell you that a fish is the least cared about animal in the world.

I don't know why. But the ending of you feeding Charlie brought a tear to my eye. It just shows that fish can be more than food. Pets or even family. IMO any pet you get in your life is automatically considered family. Such as Charlie. Her species reminds me of dogs in some way. They can remember or recognize you. Sometimes will allow you to pet them. It's a thing of beauty honestly. I love fish. I wish to get a Koi for myself one day. Thank you for such an amazing video!

    What a beautiful bronze buddy.
I would have named him Goujian, after the ancient sword that cuts like it's brand new, since its scales look very similar to the flat of the blade. Maybe when I get my own pond that can be a reality. But that's a plan far off into the future. I hope Charlie is doing well. A pond of koi sounds like something an entire lineage can enjoy since they live so long. That's why I want to have my own pond, for my kids, their kids, and the kids after that and so on.
Speaking of long lasting fish, a tank of roughies would be nice, if they hadn't been fished to near extinction. One of the most deadly things to be in the world. Tasty for humans.

    Amazing mate!
My parents have a Koi pond with some Japenese Koi and you're Japan video really woke me up about the whole thing! I guess I watched a thousand videos about Koi since than! In a few weeks the Koi will spawn and I'm trying to select a few nice ones to grow them big! That's why I built a pond in my garden now aswell! 😉
Seems like a have a new hobby!
    Greetings from Germany!

Well done Carl, ...she's a real beauty indeed! 😊 ..Chagoi are my favourite Koi as they are incredibly friendly, peaceful souls! I have 2 the same colour as yours in my koi pond and I absolutely love them to bits 😁 🐠🐟

I love love this video, always love Japanese Koi and love the different Colour Markings too. I especially like how they are very docile. This is on my bucket list to visit Japan and see the Koi for myself and enjoy the whole adventure. Cheers ! mate happy for you.
