Today’s adventure takes us to the Tarheel State to a couple of my favorite places, Laurel Knob Overlook and Crabtree Falls.
Started off the morning hoping to catch a nice sunrise from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The clouds had other plans and choked out any chance I had at sunrise. Hoping my tree survives a few more years and I get to catch some good sunrises on my future visits.
Afterwards, headed up to Crabtree Falls Campground a little ways up the parkway to visit one of my favorite North Carolina waterfalls. I was lucky and was the first one in, which was exactly what I’d hoped for so I could photograph the falls.
Enough rambling…
Time to hit the trail, Let’s Go!
