On a Viste 20p or similar panel, there is no "true" partition 3. There is 2 Partitions with a Common area referenced as partition 3. Any zone assigned to partition 3 will be a common zone. If both partitions are armed then Partition 3 will also arm, if either partition 1 or 2 is disarmed, Partition 3 will be disarmed.
We have a Honeywell vista system, and we’ve been told our security system is no longer communicating to the alarm center. When we look in our control box, we have a little green light underneath of that we have a flashing yellow under that is a red light to the right of that is a flashing red light. Can anybody help me?
The 6280 keypad is enabled in programming location 189. Depending on your panel version, there are either 2 or 4 programming spots in this location. The first two are for address 1 and 2 and if you have the last two, they are for address 5 and 6. The digit you enter into each of these locations is the partition number you want that particular keypad to work in. So, for example, if you press *189 and enter 1, 1, 2, 2, this means that AUI keypad address 1 and 2 will be assigned to partition 1, and AUI keypad addresses 5 and 6 will be assigned to partition 2.
