ok, love the editing. gotta clean my.... use as a bidet! you are hilarious. good stuff. started watching cause of winter camping gear, but stayed for the laughs. good content though, if i order one ill use the affiliate link.
That thing looks awesome bro! You always find the coolest stuff man 👍 One of these would be absolutely amazing to have along on those longer trips where the "wild smell" tends to build up, lol 😅 Thanks for the look buddy!
Pretty sweet product especially since it basically works better than advertised which is wild lol. Sounds like a good way to get the wife out into the woods. Nothing beats a hot shower.
I put a spigot on a 5 gallon bucket and used a piece of old garden hose and the shower head from a leaky Coleman solar camp shower bag. I put about 2.5 gallons of water in the bucket and add a full 12 cup coffee pot of boiling water in and it’s perfect for a summer shower. I boil the water on my Coleman camp stove. I sometimes add the water and put it out in the sun covered with clear plastic and it’s probably at around 110F by sundown. Again that’s during the warm season. I just hang the bucket up on a shepherd’s hook that I zip tied to a tree and let gravity power it. Cost under $20 for the black bucket, spigot, rubber gasket and nut. Already had a broken hose and the camp shower bag, but you can get an adapter to just screw a regular shower head on the spigot if you have an extra one laying around.
First ill ad more later. Nice no fuss water heater. Is the temp adjustable? I was wondering if it had a temporary shut off while soaping up without burning water when opened again. It made a big difference to me, you showing actual shower use in a most professional way.
There are a few steps. Step 1 get a gym membership. Step 2 throw that away. Step 3 get some friends that are stronger than you(talking about me) Step 4 have them carry the barrel up from the creek Step 5 put barrel into wagon. Step 6 take break. Step 7 drink beer. Step 8 haul said barrel in wagon to camp site. Step 9 let your kids take a shower before you lol. I really should have filmed how I filled it too. There was a creek right next to Jays site with a 2 foot waterfall. Someone had added a steel pipe at the top of the waterfall to capture the water and create a faucet like thing. That allowed for me to put the barrel right under it and fill it up pretty easy. I didn’t fill it completely either. I’d say 3/4 of the way full. Thank you for watching.
$500 for a hot shower when camping is a good price. Another great product for off grid living to go along with those batteries you can chain together and solar panels
Yeah if you camp a lot and want showers it’s a great piece of gear. Or like you said if you live off grid and have solar and batteries, it’s great too. Thanks for watching bro
I don’t know the temperature of the water but from the creek it was coming straight off the mountain so it wasn’t warm. My at home test was ground water from my well so about 55f. Thanks for watching
I choked on my hot wing almost seeing the $560 price tag! But that is a prime piece of gear! Between me and you I think Jay might have a future on onlyfans *wink wink* hahaha Anyways keep up to hard work brother!
Solar works great when it’s hot and sunny. I hear ya. The price point is steep but you can’t get 2 hours of hot water from a solar bag. I used to use solar when the kids were babies then it turned into lake/river baths and now with teenagers, this will come in handy lol. Thanks for watching
Sorry bud, you can't put this in a stream or river and take a shower. Unless you don't use soap maybe? Even biodegrade soap should not go directly in a natural water source.
A hot shower isn’t. But 100 throughout the first year at $5 each maybe. Then you are on year two. Also getting someone out into the woods to camp with you cause now you have a hot shower maybe worth every penny to someone. Not everyone but someone. I know my oldest was much more inclined to come on my last trip cause of the hot shower. Thanks for watching

How do you fill up the 15 gallon mini barrels out in the wild? Aren’t those too heavy to haul at 120ish pounds when full?

The directions say not to put it in a open water source because it doesn't filter sediment
lol I didn’t read the directions. Thanks for letting us know.
Can these be charged with a solar panel?
I haven’t tried but it has a dc port so if your solar panel has the same dc plug then I would imagine it could be. Thanks for watching
