Just few tips/clarifications for future:
Each unit re-summon based on mana and internal CD.
LoD and Hades would normally summon each 60 sec, with Messiah it`s around ¬40 if I recall correctly.
in AoD and PD case. PD can`t summon again, AoD has CD around ¬25.
I know you tried to spam, but keep in mind that Messiah in itself cost 400+ gold and for the cost - it`s under average unit (without his ability).
Most of the time you could justify Messiah on late game.... lvl 20+.
On level with send, you will never be able to re-summon in time, so you spend gold un unupgraded unit (AoD is average at best) + Messiah that does nothing.
Best use of Aod/PD is in his summon ability on upgraded version. You usually want 2-3 of PD just for a chance to decrease incoming damage with lucky summon.
Regarding your start:
Disciple is single most OP unit you can start with. You can have 7/3 push on 5 and still hold levels (maybe except 7), + it doesn`t have weak level - you will clear 90% of time, and with small ob, even hold + great starting push. Usually I wouldn`t go for more that 3 Dis, because it`s dead value on later levels. Flamebeard is one of the worst units you can start with. If they warrior, you would leak 1/2 wave. + Keeping him unpgraded is wasting of money. I admit you didn`t have best units, but for midgame I would go for 1-2 PD and then rerolls. Ofc, that would be possible with disc start. + one more thing, not regarding this gameplay, but in general.
If you go for hold game and got fed by leaks, don`t overpush. There is nothing worse for the team, that taking the feed and then leaking on later levels.
Ofc it depends on your units e.g. If you are aqua and you hold, there is no point in trying to hold 7, because you will leak even with 1400 value, but in general if you have semi-decent units and got fed then overbuild on levels that there is risk. I saw often that you will eat level 10 and then instead of staying low and building, you overpush (that is the job of people that are leaking in the first place). On one side you have same lumber during send, but it`s far more important to have at least 1-2 players with high value, that will be able to hold.

i don't get the point of the experiment.... you read the mana regen ability. did the math 5% of 60. You saw the ambass regen go up 3hp per sec... 160 legion td's in and we're still gifted
