Speech therapy for a five year old child has many moving parts: a diagnosis of autism or ADHD or articulation disorder, considering the sensory needs, considering their developmental age et cetera. This video is a sample of how I plan for a speech therapy activity for a five year old child who is not speaking pronounce adjectives and has a delay in understanding speech.

What if he can say anything. Finds it difficult to process words.
He is 5years , we are still learning how to trace letter A or even writing letter A.
The parents are only interested in him being expressive and socialize

Mam my son is 4 years he has understanding imitation and command following but his speech is not improving.
Taking speech therapy from 1year.
He used to cal me pappa when I returned from office at 1.3 years gradually he stopped talking.He watched TV more than 5 hours.
Please suggest
Do work on his communication. Start with asking for the needs of eating. Use pictures of his fav foods and model the words eat and pointing to ask for what he needs.

Nope, it's okay if they don't read yet u can read the word to them. U can also use pics of urself and child to distinguish the two sides.

Thanks so much for all information..my son is 4.3 yrs ..he has speech but lacks communication , if i ask what happened at school - he wont tell..he will just reapeat what i asked ( if i ask - did you write abc on the previous day)
Example: me:what did you do at school?
Him: did you write abc .
He will just tell only sentences which i would have used before...but wont form his own sentence..
His memory power is good..like he will remember every word on story book but wont form own sentence but will byheart everything.
Getting his speech therapy from 1+ years.
I want him to initiate conversation or talk to me ...
Same like my kid . Now he is 4.9 years old. He can speak his needs. He can ask what he wants . He can say yes / no . He know a lot of word a lot a lot he know action words like many . But he is not forming sentences. Like if I ask him what happens at school he won’t be able to answer anything . One day a kid hit my kid and that kid told my kid hit him which broken my heart and my kid was not even able to say “I didn’t do that I didn’t hit “ and my kid he doesn’t even know what is hitting and he don’t know hitting 🥲 I was crying god help my kid atleast to stand for himself . Our kids should learn to protect themselves .
