J Shapiro hi I saw your comment about my thumbnail and I’m not sure if it was a joke or maybe your computer screen is broken & I just wanted to clarify that I did not & never will darken my skin in the photos, I just want that to be very clear because that’s obviously a very serious thing to do & I really don’t want anyone to think I did that. I love this palette’s color story, but I have he majority of those colors in CP singles: Let me explain, 20 something, Come and get it or Heavy Glam, Koi, Making moves, Wait for it, Sea stars and Facet. The pressed glitters I can probably dupe with Stila Glitter and Glow and Pat McGrath. So I am maybe missing one or 2 shadows.
But I’ll definitely get Just My Luck. With today’s release I was hoping something would catch my eye, but not really.
Makeup Talk with Alessandra I totally just looked up all of those & you’re right they’re sooo similar! That’s awesome that you’re able to spot that, I bought their 9 pan purple palette and realized I had almost half the shades in their singles 😅😅
Your Girl Kath - Lol! I bought that palette too, but I only had 2 shades in it, and I knew that. I have 7 palettes and like 65 singles. So I always look at a palette and eye scan to see if I have anything similar. I have so many singles, because most palettes have so many repeats. You know who’s got unique singles? JD Glow Cosmetics. Their metallics, glittery shadows and shimmers are bomb! They compare to Pat McGrath and are cheaper. PMG is $12.5 a pan once you do math, and her actual singles are $25 each. JD Glow’s are $7.50 each, bigger pans and equal magic and glistening 👌 I made a post on IG and asked people to identify the prestige and no one could. You wouldn’t know the difference. They’re that good.

Are the Colourpop palette shadow pans smaller than the single shadows? Please update us in a future video or on insta about whether the SS shadows stay ~mOiST~!! They are such a delicate formula, so I'm genuinely shocked that CP put it in a palette!
The pressed powder shadows in the palettes are .9 grams & the single powder shadows are 1.5 grams ! & I’ll definitely keep you updated - I know they have a super shock cheek palette that launched over the holidays, I’m sure if there were issues with that they wouldn’t have continued but you never know !!
