Things to note about magic wheel revamp if that have same rate as now. Is that we need 40 drops of "magic crystal" instead of once, meaning our overall reward from magic wheel will be decreased a lot
I like how the next update nerfs the drop rate of magic wheel points/cores drop rates without increasing the quality of Legend skin content. x

It won't hurt that bad tbh...ice queen wand is a staple build for and along with glowing wand it won't affect her mid And late game I think...

Magic wheel revamp sucks
U will always need to draw 200 times all the time for a legend skin
Previously there is a chance one can get a legend skin before 200 spins
I got my last legend skin for around 180 draws
20 draws is not that much
But it is still something and you can save up to about 270(5times spins) x 4 = 1080diamonds (or crystal of aurora) which is quite a decent amount in my opinion

Might be better if they reduced the price though, to be more fair. However, there is also a possibility that you can get 5 above magic cores, which is a good deal. The magic wheel revamp is trade-off.

The new Magic Wheel is really good for acquiring new trail effects, but will be kinda bad to get new skins becase of its "randomness", acually they really want to make it up for their rarity, of course, we're talking about *Legend* skins.

About Ling's nerf Hororo really failed on *not* showing the reason for that nerf, that some didn't know they reverted to both Haa's and SP's revamped passive back, sometimes a full cover on what's new really helps it.
Elgin is better at explaining this stuff..
Hororo sometimes make nerf seems like they big and doesn't tell us how it gonna effect the hero..but yeah..he's fast updates is good.

So its reasonable for magic wheel drop rate to decrease as per players requests to revamp all old legend skins.

Alpha is overnerfed. Greatly affected spell vamp even on full item. My usual item set does not work well anymore. He also became squishier than expected for fighters.

true. her whole schtick is that she counters projectiles and ranged attacks. her old shield is effective already. giving it a breaking point makes the only thing that gives her uniqueness useless. the current reflect thing won't do much anyway since players usually aim from an angle and not directly ahead. dodging and side stepping is a basic skill that 90% of players already do.

@yamknight6562I mean tbh, I dont generally rely on spell vamp for his sustain mainly his passive. Thats why i have made a new founding that the support emblem is a much more sufficient choice, it may lack some dmg but I just build fury hammer first for some base dmg and flat penetration. The healing effect increase works really well with his passive and brave smite combined, the movement speed is very handy, and the 10% cdr allows him to join teamfights more frequently. But its my preference you decide what you pick

As Alpha main i can assure you hes never been a problem, its your team. See, Alpha is pretty weak early game and pretty fair and balanced but hes a monster at farming and generating that advantage. If he starts snowballing you arent gonna stop him as hes the master at farming and widening that advantage.
The problem is your 25* max team that ignores the objectives, ganks and providing vision on him, gives him a free triple kill and then cries to ban him. Alpha is pretty balanced, he just has great potential. I lost countless games cuz my mf team did all these mistakes. They'd pick all the lategame heroes then contest the turtle and die (cuz they weak early game), feed their Alpha and then cry hes not banned.
Personally for a nerf i'd nerf his 2nd skill as it is and his passive would keep the damage but it would be weaker in the early game like you'd still have 100% scaling at lvl 15 but start with maybe 72% and gain 2% per level maybe (the scaling would probably need to be tested or polished the numbers but you get the idea)
In the end, its not the Alpha, its the epics and legends that crawled into mythic.

His early dmg is pretty scary bruh...he's weak in late..and yeah once you caught up in the combo it's pretty hard to be escape unscathed..
But i think they should have only gave him small nerf...he's balanced over all..just reduced passive dmg in early would be bit helpful.

I dont see the need to nerf Alpha. He's already balanced. I don't even see alpha as a great pick for exp lane. He's only better in jungling and that's that. Just a single CC from the enemy could make alpha as good as fragile. Even the previous alpha was way better than the current alpha when it comes to side lanes. I think the problem is with the teammates. Just when I felt like using him atlast, i think i'll have to opt for another hero if this nerf comes to the official server.

A nerf to ruby’s early game but her dmg will be a lot hurtful in late game, this forces ruby to atleast buy an atk item (most probably be waraxe) to ensure that her dmg will increase as she levels up her skills as only their scalings are increased but not their base dmg.
I think this will make dmg ruby more on the rise, hybrid ruby having slightly higher dmg in late game, and tank ruby not gonna have any dmg even if she levels up. So meaning her early game will be slightly weaker. I think as a hybrid ruby main, its plausible as her late game dmg will be better since i feel ive always struggled with her in late game

I see many alpha users complaining about this nerf, but honestly it’s very needed.
This is coming from an alpha player myself his damage nerf is totally needed with how low his skill cd is, and as such his ability to farm with such high damage + his passive and low all at the same time. It was simply outclassing literally every assassin, not to mention self heal in the early game that allowed him to get from below half hp too full just by clearing it. This nerf was 100% needed, alpha had the ability to 1v5 almost anycomp. Now he’ll actually need a little more team to make plays, just like most other junglers
They gave yve 75% slow on her 2nd to compensate for her 7x7 ult nerf and now they're taking it away 😂 well she has been meta for really long so I don't really mind. Other mages deserve that spotlight too. Like in tournament matches it's always yve, Valen, pharsa getting picked 😐

People who complain from "balance" issues, you find them in the comments section now complaining about Yve, which is a meta hero, getting nerfed and she has probably the highest wr in mythical glory+.
For god sake, Yve has been in meta for 2 years I think, she deserves the nerf she will get as to give some other mages a chance to be meta. I'd rather see some mages like Aurora, Chang'e and Luo yi be meta now than contemplate Yve, Pharsa and Valentina in almost every single rank game
Yve's nerf is a sad part of the update for me, she is my comfort hero in playing rank, even though I don't have a high win rate of her I still play her on rank and carry the team in team fights.
Same Yve is also my main hero. I think she is still one of the best mages you just need to buy Ice queen for additional slow effect.
Yve slow effect is so op with iqw so its kinda expected to me tbh

Spin as fast as you can before the update are patched. You are not only affected. They must reduce the price if the "Magic cores" are not guaranteed every draw(s) anymore. However, we have a chance to get 5 Magic cores above which is great. I can only say about this magic wheel revamp is completely a trade-off.

Man the nerf on alpha's passive is a bit hard. Its not the damage thats annoying its the 90% brief slow. Also hes weak early game so you can invade him and hammer his farm but the low legends come and give him a triple and then cry to ban Alpha once he starts doing his best, farm and snowball. If you get snowballed by Alpha you deserved it. Maybe that will teach you that having all lategame heroes in a team is a garbage draft.
Anyway i'll swap the Rose Gold into mf BoD in my build so im more than fine i guess. Just gotta use mystery shop instead of high and dry... Think i can make him work.

I got like 100+ points on magic wheel, hoping to get just 1 legend skin, now its going to be difficult to do that. Give some compensation for the progress if that's the case
Should i spend my magic crystal? I was reserving it for a hero i use often. Or will they change it to 200 crystals automatically?

with the magic wheel changes its gg for f2p i had collected 120 for 3 years
after the update all hope of getting a legend skin will vanish
It will be really hard to have your dream skin from that magic wheel revamp. :)
