I like CapSam a lot but the fact that his power control only starts after an sp3 isn’t that exciting to me. I’d rather use Punisher2099 and never let the defender get to a bar of power.
I completed 8.1 Got a science 3 to 4. Love CapIW. Did my YOLO: sig200 r4 Cap. Have an unduped 6 star. And r5 sig200 5 star. Not ranking my 6 star until dupe. Also now have natural sig 60 Guardian 6 star. I’ll probably invest in soon. The thing about act 7 and 8 yes damage always matters. But there are so many bonuses, it is more about solving things. Utility matters. Love him, but the timing is stressful. Wish they’d had tweaked that like they did Masacre buff.
Sam's power control is decent tbh because of how late you get it(after sp3) The most underrated is doc ock...He is so damn good in terms of power control I'd say the 2nd best after doom

Personally I like vulture for power control, raptor strikes and sp2 adds up for some nasty power control and huge burn damage

Sadly I want to play him but he is just not right for me. I need more than what he provides but love his utility.
so was it a sp3 node?? why couldn't he throw a sp1 or 2 ??
He just played so he wouldn’t, not ending your combos and blocking a lot will often cause the AI to not launch the special attack
What sig is your sam? Have a duped one im thinking of ranking
