Wrapping things up in Bolivia & Real time update // EP. 90
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 лют 2025
- Bolivia has thrown just about everything at us, stunning landscapes, tough roads, and now, relentless rain. This episode kicks off with some climbing at Roca Meteorito, an incredible rock formation in the middle of nowhere. But with the weather turning, we head to La Paz for fuel and supplies, camping in the rain below Laguna Tuni. From there, we make our way to Copacabana on Lake Titicaca, where the rain keeps us grounded for a few days-giving us time to prepare for the crossing into Peru.
At the end of this video, we share a short real-time update on what’s ahead and where we are now, since we haven't posted in a while and received many questions from you. Thanks for sticking with us through all of this-your support means everything!
Enjoy the Ride!

Thanks for being real and acknowledging the hassles you had, it makes your channel so much more authentic. I look forward to seeing the remaining videos and wish you good luck in finding a job.
You are true inspiration. Thank you for showing us both sides of the coin.
Very excited to see you guys back at it again. Don't worry about the editing, all is good as long as you take us along for the ride. Until next time, Cheers!
Glad that you are all safe and well, all good things come to an end. It has been a fantastic journey for you (and us) You have now got some memories and video footage that most of us can only envy. Good luck for the future, I'm looking forward to the last videos from this beautiful tour. I wish you happiness for the future, Lots of love from the UK 🇬🇧

Nice to hear from you again! Missed your video's. So, can't wait to see some more!
I am not afraid of sitting in my Land Rover and leave. I am most afraid to come back home to something I don't enjoy anymore. Once you travel you are a different person.
Thank you for your great videos!
Hey Thomas, you got it right on point. I didn’t think too much about the coming back process, I guess I should have! Coming back was & is definitely more challenging then leaving.
Thanks Blue Landy..good luck to you all. Send images as you make restorations to the Blue Landy. Nothing lasts forever. Happy Trails!
como descendiente de vascos, y aunque no conozco todavia en Pais Vasco, debe ser un muy buen lugar para explorar.
Really good to see you all again. Looking forward to the next video, cheers.
Thanks to you for taking us with you and not producing the nasty YT mishmash. Your journey was always informative and exciting
From Kenya, I've enjoyed the journey with you guys. I got to know of the channel after you had left Kenya, but it has been inspirational.
I wish you guys all the best going forward.
Good to see an update, what an amazing trip, one of the best on UA-cam. Looking forward to seeing your upcoming trips and videos, be interested in what problems you encountered with the Landy (having a TD5 Defender, Regularly travel to Spain and Portugal from England in the Landy. )
So glad to see your video posting this morning! I was actually getting a tad nervous. Glad to see your back!!!! Congrats to Bluelandy on 300k !

Kopf hoch, alles wird gut.
Grüße von der Untermosel.
Great to catch up and pleased you are all doing fine in sunny Spain, will wait in anticipation, for your next adventures. From Steve near Chester England 🏴 where the Roman's once lived.
Glad someone’s thinking about the Roman Empire
Chariots to landrovers what more could you ask for👍☺️
Thank you so much for the update. What is your brother doing now? Look forward to your next video!
Thank you from Northern California!! I really enjoyed seeing your travels. Some of my favorites were Saudi Arabia, Namibia and the animals of Zambia....again, thank you and best of luck !
- no need to apologise, video was worth the wait. Glad to see that Bluelandy now has a new set of BFGs. Bolivia reminded me of soggy camping holidays in Wales back in the 60's
Great video and no worries about the editing. I think the important part is the content and you guys always score high on content! Thanks and keep on posting!
Great to see another video. Hope you are keeping well. Another UK lurker ;)

Hey Kerryman,
Thank you! Thanks for sticking around!
Ireland is definitely on the list, still want to check out the surf there! We’ll let you know.
Good to hear from you guys.
Traveling can sometimes be very tough, but it is good to see the good and the bad of your journey with Bluelandy.
Thanks for the update and best wishes to all.

Good to see you are back and posting videos. I hope life is settled for you in Spain and there are some more adventures ahead. What a milestone for Bluelandy, 300,000klms.
Oh yeah she is getting old! And is a bit in limp mode at the moment. But we will get her back in shape. Yeah still everything pretty frech out here.
Thank you for all your videos & best regards from Bremen 😉.
Hey Frank,
Gerne ☺️ Vielen Dank & Grüße nach Bremen
Great to see some new footage from you again. Don't feel obliged to post on a regular base, just make the video's you feel you want to share when it suits you. Nice to see you found a place to settle for a while. FYI, my td5 also passed the 300.000km..
Thanks for the nice words! Posting and so many people watching always puts some pressure to everyone. So it’s good to see people understand! So congrats to your TD5! May they both have a long live to come
Hi Kai, what you mean when you say the car was not so fit? Comfort, mechanical ? Thanks for the update and hope you find a new job soon!
Ben de Defender sahibiyim. Sizi takdir ediyor ve bol şanslar diliyorum..
I was wondering where you had gone.
Hey yeah sorry for being absent for so long!
noises on that axle could be due to worn out silent-blocks / bushings (can see from the video)
Thanks for the hint, but I’m not 100% sure which bushing you are referring to… I had the A-frame ball joint out, can’t feel any play, but the noise gets quieter with greasing the ball joint. The bushings on the A-frame arms were changed in Namibia and still look good. I guess I’ll swap the ball joint and see if the noise goes away.
@ hey guys
I meant the silent blocks / bushings on the rear axle connecting rods (chassis to axle) these do tend to wear out and you’ll know if
A) you feel the car being “unstable” in the first moments of “transfer of momentum” (breaking or accelerating)
Cause: the axle doesn’t stay in alignment due to worn bushings
B) a “clonking” sound connected to point A
I’ll put the time reference in later as I’m at the dinner table discussing our upcoming Algeria Grand Erg expedition
Indian
Hello to India, thanks for watching
