Thank you so much. You answered a mystery I gave up on. I watched him 30 years ago draw a crowd at a booth. It was the Nashville n.a.m.m. show. He did Kashmir by himself. I asked, "Who is this?! They answered funny but correctly, HE IS GREAT THAT'S WHO HE IS!! I was pulled away by my boss before actually finding out his name. Ah, part closure part beginning of enjoying art.
The easy answer to that is...NO....He is from a distant planet where there are no drummers or bass players... There are only guitar players. So they had to evolve into playing all the parts on a single guitar. On his planet...that's how they roll....So they sent him here to share with us earthlings his inovative style and technique....That why he's the only one who does that....That's the best explaination I can come up with for doing all that on one guitar ☺️
Lol..i actually know em.... Blessed that he thought me worthy of drumming w him... 30 yrs ago.....and hes 30 yrs better..... unbelievable even then... Hey world ?? He was ungodly good at 18 !!! ... Best ive ever heard at his shtick.... Top 10 best ever heard period....no matter the shtick !!
This company gave me a link to have 4 American guitarists in my network (including Gwen Stefani's) "customize" guitars they would supposedly receive to help the brand expand, just 4, and now will not honor the offer but have all their addresses. The owner, instead of working with us, blocked us on LinkedIn so I have reported the company to Social Media sites and consumer affairs in the US and Switzerland so they may review all of the emails, especially current to new musicians. It's not Covid related, only 4 guitars, and we feel the company is offering new players the same link so able to deliver and not out of business. To block us as the solution - this all falls under false marketing.
To be that free in ANY field of study... must feel so freakin' sweet :) This is what it means to master something.
Couldn’t have said it any better

Always love seeing a Ben Lacy funk video. The best!
Ben out here regulatin'.
sounds like this guitar is just perfect for his playing style
I love how he's playing Nate Doggs part in there.

Regulators!!! RIP Nate Dogg!
He has a awesome Course on TrueFire showing his method, it even comes with blisters on your fingers! Good Stuff!
The great Phil Keaggy once mentioned Ben when asked who some of his top favorite guitarists. Phil is no joke...
Regulate - Nate Dogg feat. Warren G?
Hellz ya - I thought I was the only one hearing that man haha
Good ear. Michael McDonald's "I Keep Forgettin'", which was later sampled in Regulate.
Any places where we can find more of Ben Lacy's work? This was absolutely beautiful!
His performances are very rare, but you can find a few nice pieces on youtube

I had the pleasure of seeing Ben @Rick's music world in Raynham Ma. It was crazy! It was a clinic for Roland.
Wow , that’s talent thanks been polished.

I'd like to get one of those Relish guitars cheap now that they went bankrupt.

i'll be damned if he is not operating on autopilot
Fame, fame ,fame ,fame , wht's your name.
I have to say George RR Martin does a better impression of a whole band than he does of Tolkien.
Amazing……comes close to Lenny Breau by about a mile……and no one has ever been anyway near Lenny Breau…..
not in my lifetime....
