Ryan is absolutely the best of all the stars out there! Naturally funny with so much wit, parenting skills and intelligence, plus his charming looks all make him a Total Star!!
I love this guy. Well he is Canadian to start with. Funny as heck. He can hold his own with all the major movie stars. I can't take my eyes off of him. He is definitely up there with the very best. And has managed to remain humbled and make fun of himself.............Go, go, go Mr. Reynolds..............you have tons of fans.
Ryan Reynolds is a major movie star himself. He is the only movie star who has "grown" during the months of Covid19 (That I remember...) some others have been able to "hold on with teeth and fingertips" to "being a known actor/actress in movies" and keep their show "alive" using youtube and any other platforms.
@@gubjorggisladottir3525 what are you talking about? 1 1/2 years out of the spotlight, doesn’t mean people forget who an actor is, there are plenty who’ve taken several years hiatus, but they’re still big name stars. As for tv shows, they don’t need to use UA-cam “to keep a show alive”, as most networks have a Hulu contract, or have their own streaming services, as television started making that shift before the pandemic hit.
You can really tell Ryan is trying to engage his filter before what he's thinking spills from his mouth. That makes it funnier because you're anticipating what he's likely to say, so you get both jokes anyway :)
I saw this movie today, and I've been around for a long time. This is the most entertaining movie I have ever seen. Ryan, I think we all fell in love with your character! This movie has everything~ Good job, perfect cast, amazing concept. Strap it on, you guys are going to be a franchise!
Ry Ry is awesome! I remember when I first saw him two guys etc. he was going to be famous had the wit back then . Glad he is so happy has a great wife and family.
When he was explaining the movie to the hosts, it sounded like it could be the plot for the Matrix movies. Wonder if the writers knew that it sounded exactly the same?
@@ryanrodneyreynolds1764 shut up! You are not the real Ryan Reynolds. You are a loser who is desperate for attention and made a profile pretending to be Ryan with a couple subscribers. You are fooling no one! Get a life and STOP pretending to be someone you're not. Absolutely pathetic.
At 3:12 Ryan quips about putting all his paper route money into a video store's arcade game. He says that was a "terrible investment." That one statement says a lot about Ryan's development into an adult. He says that his parents didn't have the money to give him and his siblings [expensive] video game consoles. That was because his dad was a Canadian police officer (RCMP), which meant the family was always on a tight budget. They had a comfortable life, but not one filled with luxuries. Anyway, I don't know how or when it happened, but at some point Ryan decided to wisely invest money, to the point where in this interview he quips about wasting money in his youth. Whatever he did definitely worked because today he has a net worth approaching U.S. $400 million. Yeah, he's got a lot of reasons to be smiling. A fine loving family, success, good health, and enough money to provide for his family and do anything he wants. Tip o' the hat to this guy. P.S. I would disagree with his characterization that spending his paper route money on a video game was a "terrible investment." IMO if the game gave him pleasure, then that's OK. If you get something in return for the money you spend, then that's not money wasted.
It's so painfully obvious they didn't know anything about the movie. When you tell me a movie was really good and it's clear that you have never seen it, it means absolutely nothing to me.

I mean, in this case I understand why its something we need. It looks to be a very non-political, generic action movie that is just pure escapism. Which considering the stress of the last two years, watching something that has nothing to do with the real world is looking pretty nice.

Back then Reynolds probably was under the mercy of execs and directors. He probably still is, but at least to a much lesser degree and actually gets a say in a lot of things.
I actually liked him in that show. Even though it was all scripted and he didn't really have much of an input in his own character's humor you could tell when he managed to get his own joke in there or his own comedic timing made something funnier.
@@pHD77 I think he probably was on a tight leash up until Deadpool. But that's no different to a lot of actors who are obliged to just read a script and deliver what a director wants.
