I guess a few others have come here for nostalgic reasons. I remember being 15 playing ds3 on release, and thought this fight was beyond hard, but after killing the final boss of the elden ring dlc, I now look upon the abyss watchers with fond memories of a simpler time. Prob gonna go replay ds3 now.
Honestly I might do that too. I’ve killed consort radhan now and all the other dlc bosses so other than a few items I’m done. Dark souls 3 it’s been a long time old friend. Matter of fact I might play the DS3 DLC
It's nostalgia for me too and i'm almost 40. Kinda strange feeling to have a second childhood with these games but its true its just how damn legendary they are.
This boss battle changed my life as a gamer. It was the moment everything clicked for me. From this fight on I understood the greatness that is FromSoft.
Not just the boss, but the story. Their whole lives dedicated to fighting against the darkness, to becoming worse than the darkness themselves, killing each other endlessly in their own cathedral... If you stare too long into the darkness, you'll become part of it
True but these games are old enough now to be nostalgic even for us older gamers who refound their youth with these titles. Demon's Souls was our first game and that was 09. I'm 39 now and its odd having a nostalgia again lol. But that's how good these are but I recognize some of it is nostalgia but even still Bloodborne is my favorite still even after Elden Ring as well.
@@mr.rungus2516 Actually some of us are smart enough to understand the correlation between nostalgia and enjoying a boss that's clearly been left behind in every way besides OST. It's a basic boss fight with basic presentation. Nostalgia now adds to it especially musically. You loons seem far too dumb to actually understand something so basic.
Idk how yall choose. I have so so so many favorites from all of the games that I’d never be able. I guess I don’t listen to the Demon Souls OST much but other than that I couldnt choose
+Mekkah Dee Same here, humanoid fights just feel more intense to me. Can't wait to play this game, how hard is it in comparison to the other souls games?
+Tawagoto No Tōkō Well, I've not got stuck to the point I can't move on easily yet, but I have died A LOT. I've also played all other games in the series so I think that probably makes it a little easier. Overall I think the difficulty is just right. Not frustrating but it's pretty tough.
1:16 played for me during the cutscene when the abyss watchers were standing up and it was perfectly matched on that curscene and ever since then iv loved this boss
In the first part of phase 2, the chorus itself gets louder. Not really the singers getting louder, but fromsoft just cranked the volume on the microphones. Why I love this game.
Ashen One: [Defeats Abyss Watchers]. [Abyss Watchers theme still plays] Ashen One: Why do i still hear boss music? Doom Slayer: Because there's a Hellfire Cyberdemon.
This is the most underrated Souls game always being considered worse than Bloodborne and Elden Ring but in my opinion it's just as good it's an absolute masterpiece
Blood gets popular due for difficulty so does sekiro Elden rimg gets popular beacuse its new and open world Ds 2 gets popular due for the hate it got but rised back to loved Ds 1 gets popular beacuse its the first dark souls, amd beacuse of the bosses I dont see ds 3 as much as i remember Only one i think has less popularity is demon souls@@PngReaver
4 years ago, I remember playing this song as I emptied out my apartment. COVID had hit and I had no money or job. I remember this playing as I carried what little I had in the world down the steps and loaded it into the truck. Now I have a house. Dogs. A good life. I love hearing this, always takes me back to that moment of sorrow and reminds me of how far I've come. Also beating this boss was the first time I understood the fromsoft "dance." Me and the old wolf curved sword showed him the true power of a wolf knight!! What a great theme.
thats why ds3 has better osts than elden ring sorry they r so close but ds3 osts r better bcs they r too emotional i dont remember elden ring has emotional osts but still er banger
Eight years ago…
Time fly’s dude
Easy level.
where have you been for eight years?
These games are legendary man. Bloodborne is 10 years old nearly. They just keep going too.
9 years

We meet again.
I wanna replay ds3 but I feel the strong urge to try to finish ds1 I naver have cuz it’s a bit to clunky feeling for me

Absolutely beautiful boss fight , watchers and Sulyvan made me git gud
Same here, when i saw the 2nd phase cinematic i was in shock, just thinking "This is ist"

@@theexpanse2723 oh the irony, they also met the same fate as artorias the one they looked up to
Same here for me, I went on to play Bloodborne, ds1, ds2 and sekiro because of this fight and this game.
This boss is still peak for me even after Elden Ring

This is still one of the greatest boss fights ever
Dark Souls 3 had the best OST in the whole souls series
bloodborne for me and this and er close second
Agreed. Ds3 is the only OST I can listen to start to finish.
Personally I think ds2 but they all have bangers
Idk how yall choose. I have so so so many favorites from all of the games that I’d never be able. I guess I don’t listen to the Demon Souls OST much but other than that I couldnt choose
Disagree. There are bangers in every title that choosing “the best” out of any of them is doing the games and yourself a great disservice.
Very nice the more i see footage of this game makes me wanna get it when it launches. :)
bro are your still alive?

@@damodharshelke8421 but seriously I am more curious if he got the game or not lol.
1:10 is unreal! 2024 but just got here this game amazing already
have you finished it? how did you enjoy it?
This boss looks like a blast to fight!
+Tawagoto No Tōkō It was, though I feel like I took off too much HP per hit. I always find the humanoid bosses to be the most fun in the Souls series.
+Mekkah Dee Same here, humanoid fights just feel more intense to me. Can't wait to play this game, how hard is it in comparison to the other souls games?

Thank you!!!! I found the 2nd phase included with this track but only small sip of it.
Anyway, thank you.
*legion etiquette intensifies*
Though 8 years have passed, you have not been forgotten brothers of the undead legion.
Its fascinating comparing this boss gameplay to elden ring. Everything here is so readable and fair lol
1:16 played for me during the cutscene when the abyss watchers were standing up and it was perfectly matched on that curscene and ever since then iv loved this boss
This was my favorite boss of DS3 and was the moment I fell in love with Fromsoft, they will never miss
Game tottaly clicked for me as well here.
This really is the peroxide of all time
The original ds3 ost youtube videos got taken down they mad millions of views. I wonder what happened. The osts havent hit as hard
I heard someone said cuz they was supposed be in UA-cam for limited time idk what is even mean 😪
In the first part of phase 2, the chorus itself gets louder. Not really the singers getting louder, but fromsoft just cranked the volume on the microphones. Why I love this game.
Gehrman would have loved The Abyss Watchers.
this is best boss fight ever
the sound of ds1 bell towers 😩
unforgettable
The best ost in the whole souls game
Ashen One: [Defeats Abyss Watchers].
[Abyss Watchers theme still plays]
Ashen One: Why do i still hear boss music?
Doom Slayer: Because there's a Hellfire Cyberdemon.
3:30 this is what I came here for
They hollowed, and turned on each other...
No they didn't? They suspected the abyss to be in eachother, and turned mad when they did have abyss in them, turning it into a mad frenzy
@vadimblyat8106 correct, they attempted to endlessly fight the Dark that resided in themselves.
Player DS3 for the first time after Elden Ring and Sekrio introduced me to from soft.... beat these guys first try rocking the Zweihander
Why do I feel like this soundtrack is the Guts Theme of Dark Souls 3?
This is the most underrated Souls game always being considered worse than Bloodborne and Elden Ring but in my opinion it's just as good it's an absolute masterpiece
How is this the most underrated souls game 😂

thing is, it may be low on the soulsborne totem pole, but its still a STELLAR game.
