FACEBOOK: / chrisstuckmann TWITTER: / chris_stuckmann Chris Stuckmann reviews his first "Hilariocity", The Room, starring, written, produced, directed and financed by Tommy Wiseau.
Fun fact: Tommy Wiseau (director of "The Room") said that he wants to direct the Fantastic Four sequel... Now that would be PRICELESS and for sure would give us another Hilariocity Review!
I don't know why but I want this to happen badly!!!! The Laughter would be insane in theaters across the country and the world!! I will buy tickets instantly!!
I met him a couple of years ago. He told me about his cameo in The Disaster Artist movie and when I took a picture with him, he started playfully choking me. His skin felt like warm leather.
In my opinion, I believe this movie truly is a masterpiece. It's *so* good at being bad, that it turned making a bad movie an art into itself. I mean, nobody else could make something like this if they tried; it's truly an enigma.
It's like a movie made my by an alien trying to understand how humans work tbh, so so unbelievably wrong on so many levels. Heck, even in The Disaster Artist, Tommy said he wanted to have his own planet he called "Tommy's planet" lol. Maybe Tommy *is* an alien, who knows--an alien from the spoon planet.
I have a suspicion that maybe Tommy didn't want to use the word 'fiancée' because of its French roots. I listened to Greg Sestero's (the guy who played Mark in The Room) The Disaster Artist audiobook & discovered that foreign words infuriated Tommy & didn't want them used in his movie (chapter 16).
Tommy Wiseau's excellent directorial debut, The Room is a masterpiece and one of the most underappreciated films in the past decade. Every line and scene has so much care and effort put into it that it easily puts many movies that have come out in the past decade to shame. The character writing is outstanding and every line feels genuine and carries much emotional weight. The film features an all star cast, including fantastic actors like Greg Sestero and Juliette Danielle just to name a few. The story is a marvelous feat in story telling, with a complex narrative that will keep you guessing, suspenseful cliff hangers, and a surprising ending (Which is the most emotional ending in all of film). This, and so much more, makes The Room easily the best movie of all time.
@@Freehotdawgs The funny thing is that he isn't even an actor. He's an athlete who has won an olympic medal. His acting was like that because he apparently was really mad at Tommy.
lyricsfromsweden Almost ALL lines in movies are recorded in post, but they usually sync it with the video well enough that you can't tell the difference.
I saw the first few seconds of that rooftop scene several times, right up until he says 'Oh hi, Mark', and it never occurred to me that there was actually someone named Mark up there. That's how strange and discontinuous the whole scene is.
BobbyBaboon sorta impossible. The script was so bad, it would be litterally impossible to act that scene well. Leonardo DiCaprio couldn’t act it well. And if anyone can act that scene well it might as well be Tommy Wiseau
Whats with this Paull Rudd comparison... Chris looks like Paul Rudd, Mark looks like Paul Rudd, I LOOK LIKE PAUL RUDD, YOU LOOK LIKE PAUL RUDD, WE ALL LOOK LIKE FUCKING PAUL RUDD!
Thank you, your channel is helping me get through a very difficult time. I can barely function and your videos make me feel a little better for a little while. Thanks again...
The room 2 A young man named Jack moves into the apartment once occupied by Johnny and Lisa. Over the next few days, Jack has nightmares about a strange, long haired ghoul with a foreign accent. Jack learns from his neighbour Denny that the former resident Johnny was a practitioner of voodoo and the dark arts. Denny advises Jack to seek out Father McCartney, as he is the only one in the apartment building who knows how to get rid of poltergeists. Jack goes to McCartney's apartment but finds him dead. Suddenly, Denny lunges at Jack with a knife and the two of them fight. Jack defeats Denny and demands an explanation. Denny tells Jack that he and Johnny were close friends and for years he has been trying to raise Johnny from the dead so they can be together again. Jack begins to feel a strange chill in the air and a twisted smile forms on Denny's face as the rotting corpse of Johnny appears in a cloud of mist and devours Jack.
Not sure if it's old news, but apparently the spoon photos were there, because Tommy Wiseau just bought photo frames from the local store and didn't bother to replace the stock spoon photos that came in them :)
I guess now we know why James Franco changed the title of the movie about him from "The Disaster Artist" to "The Masterpiece" maybe Tommys realized his online meme presence is a thing and doesnt like it. The fuck
+Joshua McDonald Well the thing is, it seemed that Tommy did try to make it a great movie--at least it's what I gathered from The Disaster Artist that Greg Sestero wrote--but he got very minimum understanding on how humans work, and much less on how good movies work, and when they told him his ways didn't work, he got all defensive and stubborn so that they just kinda gave up and went as Tommy wanted haha
i just watched this movie and it was fascinating and amazingly funny. Im just baffled at how someone was able to write such contradictory dialogue. I really want to see some type of making of video of this movie their must be more footage somewhere.
Greg Sistaro, who plays "Oh Hi," Mark, wrote a book about the production called, "The Disaster Artist." It answer a lot of questions. And promps so many more.
Aww Chris of many moons ago.. absolutely hilarious as always, and the same man posting videos today. Certainly you and your channel have grown, but it's nice to see someone who hasn't changed themselves for social media/youtube. Keep doin u man, u do it well...

I recently saw The Room at a movie theater yesterday, and I thought it was a hilariocity too. The place was packed, people were crying foul on what was wrong with the movie, and we also threw spoons too

your parody wasnt done in a rooftop. so 99.9/100
ProDoucher the actual scene was filmed with cgi not a rooftop lol
@@cringeproof100 I'It would have been a 101/100 if Chris green screened a rooftop.
Also suddenly the whole character of Denny makes sense if you realize he's actually Tommy's cat

I met Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero at a screening and I realised up until that moment my life had been incomplete.
Very, very surreal. Me and my sister walked into the lobby and he was playing football...

Porco-Dio FIlm Ed Wood, you're welcome.
Greg Sestero who plays Mark said in his book that the spoons were basically the stock photos in the frames that Tommy bought lmao.
Weird. Usually the stock photos are of people.
Thread Bomb Using spoons makes sense. You don't have to pay them to model for photos.

That's just nuts. I wonder if he also refuses to say hamburger (I would like a round beef patty with cheese between two pieces of bread.)
That's hilarious, especially since 45% of english words have a french origin (just looked up wiki)

according to the disaster artist this started filming in like 1997

Same thing with Napoleon Dynamite, it came out in 2004 but it looks like it came from the 80's or 90's
I always joke that the 80's didn't really end until '90-'94, Maybe the 90's didn't end until '03-'04?

The problem with his intro was, it had a much higher production value than the actual movie.
