More or less differing opinions, yeah. Since I'm not into highly detailed and complex kits, these appeal to me more. I feel like this line's Core Skeleton is a huge step up from the normal kits building style in terms of stability. I can pose this one without the fear of things falling off outside those silly hand panels.
the ease of assembly makes a good amount of sense for LBX, as it's a line of model kits marketed at kids to both build and play with, so the core skeleton works well in how you just attach armor to different sections of the body, while still being able to be customized with parts from different kits. it's certainly not hard to see the appeal of LBX

After playing the LBX game on 3DS makes me wonder if there are toy versions etc.. now i know. Those kits are amazing and fully detailed. Customizing various parts whenever u want are big plus on playability for your personalized LBX. One day I'll go buy one someday. Thank you for very nice vid u review.

From kits like Nightmare I know what you mean though. I got Buster about a month ago and he's the most solid kit I own. While I agree polycaps hold it back, I can't fault the line considering each release is only $10. Definitely agree though.
You can only build one at a time, unless you decide to make a custom hyper function that requires multiple sets worth of armor prices. Then, you could build both
Interesting kit. I like the design with a separate endoskeleton and armor that goes over top of it. The swapping gimmick is interesting as well. One thing that seems, not odd, just off (?) I suppose to my eye is the proportions of the figure. It seems kind of squat, for lack of a better term, as compared to some of the other robot kits I have seen and built in the past. This is likely due to the original source material, so it is what it is. Thanks for the look.

The Ben 10 style part swapping toys are the Battle Custom Figure Series. Just search LBX on HLJ or AmiAmi and everything should be pretty obvious from there.

You said the hands fall apart, which is just the same problem the old LBXs have.
i own the original model kit Achilles,i didn't think it was that awful,the only bad part was that it has a paper cape and mine has a loose joint on both legs,but other than that the details is close to the Hyper Function and it look ok,its not that awful,just telling the people who thinks it is awful.

Ive just watched this video, and I may just start getting into LBX, it looks awesome!

AX-00 is used for the unit itself while Achilles was used as a separate armour
