So grateful for your channel ❤🎉😊You provide me with eye opening experiences that I can not afford to physically experience. Thank you for all the gifts 🎁
Saw JB Franklins work in Tribeca last year and absolutely loved it. The texture and physicality of the paintings really don't come across in the video (like a lot of wok) but they're beautifully crafted and have a compelling presence that smacks on the side of the head and sucks you in. Pretty obvious he's an amazing colorist- decorative without being fussy or cloying. Mex City looks like a cool hang.
Your voice is really beutiful! Art galleries in CDMX are just a tiny part of the art scene of the city. There are a couple hundred of museums in the city that people would love to know through your videos and your lovely voice.
Another awesome video, Mary Lynn. Great art, cool galleries, lovely city. Thank you so much. I loved the last outfit; it reminds me of Manet's "The Fifer."
I just recently discovered your channel after attending the latest EXPO Chicago and stumbling upon your tour of the art fair. Your channel is like an armchair travel guide for art lovers. There are so many possibilities for future videos. I could suggest going to Santa Fe, NM, a city with nearly 300 galleries, as well as the Georgia O' Keeffe museum. Or take a trip to Marfa, TX, and tour Donald Judd's Chinati Foundation and neighbourhood art galleries. I know they book a year in advance, but if you could snag a ticket for Micheal Heizer's City installation in Central Eastern Nevada, you would experience something that few of us can enjoy. Hosted by Triple Aught Foundation, this massive 1.5 mile-long sculptural exhibit is only available to a handful of visitors per year.
panteon is the gallery that has made tramendous path for the street art and graffiti, helping people of the lowest economic and social situation to climb the ladder of capitalist injustice, if you understand art and who whas been exhibiting there you will understand what im talking about, but i;ve never ssen anyone of forigners to dig to this level< majority just falling into european like owned by rich kids galleries that sell not always well curated art.... thats understandble like all the fenomena of roma-condesa but its altering reality for the english speakers and doesnt showcase why mexico is really amazing country where people help each other grow
Todo iba perfecto excepto los tacos Orinoco , para mi gusto están muy feos y a que hacer una fila de locos ,,,y para lo que valen , creo que hay mejores
Funny HUO emphasizes "thinking with hands", given the fact that Terrazas doesn't produce the yarn paintings himself. The are produced by Wixárika artisans, according to their own tablas technique. More white men "reflecting on" and sugarcoting over the unequal exploitation of manual labor.
Thank you Mary Lynn for showing how strong is the art scene in Mexico City. 😍

Who are the top selling contemporary Mexican artists in the U.S. currently? Any standouts right now and what galleries in New York?
1. Orozco
2. Your fashion sense
3. Caivano
4. Brunch
5. Santamarina
Unfortunately, the last Kahlo painting (that of her sister) didn’t reach the auction estimate of $3 million.

What’s happening at MASA gallery in Mexico City. People say it is a racist gallery.
