You missed the most important one the two guys in the park shared and you didn't understand, "Classism and Racism". Light skin vs darker skin, rich vs poor...
@@carlitospc Yea thats big problem of Mexico, pure European descestants dislike mixed and mixed clean aztecos, aztecos dislike Mayans and so on.
Hello my friend, where in Mexico City do you reside? I’m an Army veteran who will be taking my family to Mexico City. Any tips to having a good time? Also, how is the violence?
It's a good video about Mexico city. I would like to visit there because it's a good place to see and I would like to invite you to visit Kashmir, India this year to enjoy snowfall and skiing here and make travel vlogs in Kashmir so that everyone will know how beautiful our Kashmir is and many people can come and see. This will help tourism industry to boost in Kashmir
Wish you hadn't interrupted the first two young me when they stated "racism", "classicism". You stepped in and stated earthquakes. You should have allowed them to finish what is often unspoken.
First interview almost felt like a sketch.
- Racismo
- No, clasismo
Ahh, sismo!
Haha dude I was laughing when I edited the video and heard my mistake 🤣
Lmao.
I was kinda lost there. Like what did they mean? No but classicism is what they meant. I've been lucky to not have experienced quakes though
We need the extended version of those two 😝, I can see the confusion between those words haha
¿Y el cinismo? 😂

I've visited many cities around the world, and when I decided to visit Mexico City finally, I didn't know how much I would love it. Been here 5 years now and not leaving.
Visited CDMX in July of 2019. Stayed for 5 days and honestly didn’t want to leave. I’m from NYC and CDMX was like a breathe of fresh air. Couldn’t believe how much cheaper and easier things were there. The food and culture is just bursted at me. I still haven’t been back but I didn’t realize how much big the country is so I most likely will go to another city but I’ll never forget how I felt for those 5days.
Seriously. U never believed that Mexico da things could ve cheaper. Maybe USA dollar is da second more important
Lol cheaper for who??? Americans with USD or average Mexicans??
you gringos should stop saying it's "cheaper" here 🙄 of course it is because you're earning in dollars. for us Mexicans it is NOT cheap at all.
Went to southern Mexico, the first time leaving g the country in my life, this January. I was only able to spend 2 days there, but it was the most important 2 days of my life. I’d learned Spanish to a relatively advanced level before going, but being there took me to a whole new level in terms of how naturally and colloquially I spoke. I met a girl there who was a Chilanga, on vacation from CDMX, and spent my 2 days there with her, exploring the island with her. The best time of my life, changed the way I think about slog of things.
@@spencerott2481 chilango is for people that come from other parts of the country to live in the city, Citadino o Defeño is for the native locals
He didn’t say “La movilidad” (Public Transportation). He said “La amabilidad” (The kindness *of the people*)
Sorry about that. I do my own subtitles and as is clear in the videos I'm not entirely fluent yet :)
@@TheNewTravel your French is funny! Is frenchglish! You should work a bit more on your French accent. Specially that you had the chance to be in Montreal

Love Mexico from China🇨🇳💚❤️🇲🇽

Amo ciudad de México, es una ciudad que ofrece tanto. no es la París ni la Londres de América, es simplemente una ciudad única ,con su propia arquitectura, belleza y encanto. pronto volveré ❤
Bueno al menos hablas español
Stayed a month in CDMX last August 2022 and it never occurred to me or even noticed the pollution that most of them mentioned….
I loved everything about MC,the People, food, culture easy to get around(Cheap transpo) and most importantly the feeling of right at home.
I’ve been many times without experiencing pollution. I hear it is bad in the spring. Love the city!
😢 WINTER is Pollution Season 😢 When it RAINS during the summer months pollution in the air falls to the ground....and We Can Breathe!
My house is your house!!!🎉😊
My wife and I visited Mexico City once July 2022. We are from a hot climate so The cool weather was great! Our food experience was good but had we stayed longer maybe would have been better. The cultural activities abound. We visited Xochimilco and it was packed with tourists & we met fun people and had a blast! We stayed in a nice hotel in the Zócalo which included a free walking tour & there happened to be a massive concert that evening. We definitely will return to visit! 👍
Do you think Mexico’s weather is cool? Where are you from dude? 🤔
I love your videos, especially when you keep interviewing people but have shots of the city, I'd love to see you doing videos on my hometown Guadalajara!
What's your last name? My last name is wolf but in spanish
I like your video,from bangladesh
VIVA MÉXICOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, UN ABRAZO DESDE VENEZUELA MIS PANAS!
Right now am in Querétaro, so am close by, most of the people I´ve met in college are from CDMX, ususally when people live there long enough they get tired of the chaos, but I love it, I´ve never lived there but I wouldn´t mind.
To me, a lot of cities like Queretaro and Puebla do feel like a smaller, more chill CDMX. I can understand the appeal of both!
Hi.. i'm from Indonesia, i like your channel cause i feel is different for example you always talk to locals and ask about their opinion about something so is not just only you walk to inform places you were visit, i mean this is what i called traveling, keep it up and stay safe for you 😊
Romanian jew guy since 2018 here, amo esta hermosa ciudad con todo mi corazón! Dios bendiga a toda su gente.
I lived in Mexico City for almost two years, 2016 to 2018. Loved it! The world has no idea what a beautiful city it is, how rich in culture, history, the arts, amenities, and food, and how safe and green it is. Not to mention that there's something cool and interesting everywhere you look.
The Spanish of the French girl ❤️ Omg I love her accent, haha.
They all love the people and hate the pollution. Extraño a Mexico muchísimo la gente tan amable y feliz.
I love how the guy at 11:24 takes it very seriously gets like too formal and puts a great effort into his English! He's cute too HAHA-.
And his eyebrows!!
He's got a playing game with his eye brows
I couldn't tell if he was on drugs or not, but I wanna take him home and do something delicious to him. 😉😅😋

México seems awesome place the Culture,food , weather,etc .
I enjoy your videos AND your spanish Is good.
Wow! You are back there?!
I was there in CDMX last year in June; went to Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende too.
I can’t wait to go back this year again! ❤
Loved the conversation with the two guys at the beginning haha
🐢🐢
I was just in Mexico City (from Toronto). I realize it's at a higher altitude but can't say I noticed any difference. I didn't feel tired at all and was constantly walking around the city.
México City is incredibel 👍👍
Loving the Mexico City videos, hope you have the chance to come to Guadalajara!
Guadalajara es horrible, Ecatepec es mejor
As a Mexican, I totally agree with the airport comment, I honestly dread having to go to the AICM airport, it’s super dated and in a state of disrepair. Hopefully one day they will finish what they started with the new airport they were supposed to have built nearby. Keep the new videos coming Dan, cheers!!
Not happening. It's a protected area.
Agree will never happen that area is not appropriate, thankfully it got cancelled.
The socialist president killed that project. Now that new airplane is far af.
There's the new AIFA airport north of the city , but we know how that's been developing with all the bad press and the project got polirized and politized. Hopefully it gets certified so international airlines could land there and Mexican airlines give it a chance and stop their tantrums. It looks like its gonna be great airport but in like 5 years when the communication expressways and train are finished.
That airport that would be under water by now?
Sal de la Condesa para que veas como es es la ciudad más allá de sus zonas centrícas.
No es tan mala el Estado de México si pero ya no es CDMX
I plan on moving to Mexico this year. I’m from NYC so I want a quieter city to live in, I’m still researching the cities on my list. NYC is too expensive at this point.
mexico city is just as loud as nyc, also the most expensive big city in mexico. nearby puebla and queretaro are also pretty populated but much quieter and easy to get used to as they have your typical everyday american/european companies.
Smallest city Aguascalientes and Querétaro I recommend 😊
Morelia and Guadalajara are nice cities.
Beautiful people! Didn’t know pollution was a problem there, but makes sense since it’s a huge city.
Just the fact that Mexico puts sugar in everything makes me want to go, i'm a sugar addict :) I want to visit the Frida Kahlo house.
im from nyc and i visitied cdmx earlier this year, it reminds me so much of NYC, looking to live there soon as its such a beautiful city
Totally feel you about the airport my dude, it’s truly a third grade facility and it needs to be outright replaced soon… the new one seems like a decent upgrade but it’s located too far away from the city center.
Awesome video! Thank you! People, if you like Mexico City, then you will love Moscow, Russia! Forget about the crap you hear from the TV and experience the real magic of the metropolitan city! It will pleasantly surprise you! The food, the amount of things to do there, the culture and the people (yes, Russians are quite a good people, even though west wants to portrait them differently) everything will amaze you! Go beyond your comfort zone and propaganda on a TV! You will not be disappointed!
The new airport built for CDMX got great reviews.
First generation American my dad is from a little dirt town in Mexico. Now that I’m getting older Idk how to describe it but Mexico is just calling me I want to just book a flight alone and see what it’s all about. Been watching videos for over a year about different areas in Mexico. Very fascinating stuff
If you go way back to my older videos from 6 years ago (I have a playlist called Travel Mexico) you will find a lot of videos from all over. It's a beautiful country and Mexicans are awesome. I haven't been back in a while but it's where this channel got started. Hope you make the trip happen :)
Ive been three times and once with my partner. Many good comments I think. It is truly a special place. i haven't really ventured into poorer neighborhoods ...yet. My Spanish is very limited, and I find people quite supportive of a small effort to use Spanish. Its interesting how individual people can be seen sweeping and cleaning, as I have observed elsewhere in Mexico. At the same time its clear to me,... that Mexico generally is behind many west countries in the area of garbage and recycling management. As for pollution if people mean cars,...yes huge problem, yet ...so many people biking and using public transport. I am from Canada and we live indoors for large periods,...so being in mexico anywhere is extremely delightful
Thank you very much for this perfect video ♡
You missed the most important one the two guys in the park shared and you didn't understand, "Classism and Racism". Light skin vs darker skin, rich vs poor...
Yes, my limited Spanish kicked me in the butt there. I would have asked more questions but I genuinely misheard
I can confirm, it is indeed a very big issue to this day :/
Virtual Palm Networks are super handy....

You should visit Xalapa, capital of Veracruz. It's a beautiful place.
That was a very charming collection of people. Thank you!
I live in Guadalajara Jalisco (Born and raised) and its common knowledge (if you were born here) that you NEVER EVER buy cellphone cards other than the Telcel authorized buildings... because Telcel gives free sim cards, and there is some people who get those free SIMS and sell them.
So its just one of those thinks all parents tell us.
Well, there is a new airport and it looks pretty cool, the not-so-great thing about it is that there aren't many international flights yet, but hopefully one day!
Lol it's super far away from the city
Dang! I was in la ciudad last week and couldn't stop thinking about your channel.
We actually got a New airport it’s called AIFA but it’s 1hr away from CDMX
We are heading back to DF soon. I'm going to retire early here in the US and go spend time with my wife's family in Mexico.
I want to be where the great people are :)
Maybe Mexico one day :)
I love nature and i love spirited people and i love making enough for a living.
you need to know the deep Mexico city, the zone of roma condesa es rally cute, but we have other beautiful places to visit like coyoacan xochimilco and others that are no that nice but in every citys have dos an donts
Great video as always. Can't wait for you to visit more places in the future.
That was a very enlightening video - everyone interviewed liked the place, even if there were things they didn't (mostly traffic, noise and pollution it seems).
i was just there in jan and heading back in a few weeks bc i loved it so much! the white bread comment made me laugh... checking out your other mex city videos!

Pollution is unfortunately do too Mexicos high altitude… mountains creating pockets were smog accumulates. Flat areas don’t have that back draw.
🦕Disfruté esto y espero con ansias experimentar la Ciudad de México por mí mismo el próximo año!
Expect to gain weight while you are there. Spend the day walking Chapultepec and enjoy a sunset on a rooftop restaurant having a drink or three. Go buy some crafts from one of the many markets. Mexico City is one of my favorite places to stay.
I can't wait for your next "...How many languages you speak?" video!
Thanks! Got a couple of good ones planned :)

Welcome back to MC. Sure you will discover many new places you've never seen before...
I would love to see people in São Paulo answering these questions
Your in Mexico City 🇲🇽, again ?
Recently I've been doing a new type of content where I'm talking to strangers in different cities around the world. But I wanted to pay a visit to Mexico City again, since this is where so much of my channel started, and it will always have a special place in my heart.
Almost everyone mentioned the pollution, so it really must be alarming.
In my experience it's worst in the winter, just sort of hangs over the city. Other seasons aren't as bad
It is, believe me... Worst part is you can really do nothing about it since 99% of pollution comes from big industries
Bruh, I've seen wild fires starting even when it rains... it's insane. From 2020 to 2023 it's become very alarming, you can even see it from your window.
It's not that alarming. Of course there's a lot to be done in this regard, but the pollution situation is actually comparable to what other big cities in the world suffer -and let's remember, actually, this is not only a 'big city', this is a MEGACITY with 22 million people moving around each day! I find that this aspect is so mentioned in the video because the city is extremely beautiful, exciting and interesting... so there are actually few things that one could hate about it (I'm not from CDMX, but I've lived here for 7 years, and I just love it 😍).
It's in the winter because IT DOES NOT RAIN. Once late spring rolls around and the rain begins the skies clear up.

🐢 Great video.
The next time you visit mexico city i recomend the new airport. U will love it for shure. Greetings from fort worth tx.
It’s also 100-200 more expensive to fly in to there and an hour and a half a away.
Viva México!!!!!
Man on 0:50 didn't say "mobility" (movilidad) but "kindness" (amabilidad).
Good video yeah as a Mexican i really don't like the noise, the bureaucracy, pollution, pets everywhere being abandoned.
I've lived in NYC for a long time now, and the main difference here? It seems like cmdx actually has places to SIT DOWN. Get with the program nyc!
Seems like a nice affordable place to live.
Thank you BUT no Thank you a tu opinion (minuto 6:12).
In french " mexico " is the city and " Mexique " is the country
Very interesting to know as a Mexican :o, greetings!
I saw your videos about Ukrainian people and their situation, but I tell you there are also other countries like them, why don't you transfer their image of Syria, Iraq and Palestine in the Middle East, unfortunately the Western media does not tell the West the truth about the war
At 2:10, this guy names the 2 things you need to be happy, tacos and alcohol! Lol... greetings from TeXas.
Those first dudes😂 the racism, nah the classism. Being first generation Mexican I didn’t get that until later.
I love everything in Mexico 💕
1:26 LOL! He said racismos, and you heard seismos. I would probably hear seismo too since I'm in Mexico.
Great video,!!!!!!!!
Saludos desde México y Hablas español tu?
Theres is a new airport Felipe Ángeles. You should go and see.!!!!
Interesting Dan, I might want to visit with a friend and stay at a hostel.
5:26 totally agree. The airport has bad design - they built a new one but I think there are problems with it
Hey Dani, thanks for you video, keep up with them. I have to say that people here in Mexico are very welcome to Europeans and North Americans, but as a south American immigrant here I suffered a lot of racism and indifference. Mexicans are hard work people who fight a lot to survive and have a good life, but in my experience they are kind of passive and to pride to discuss social problems, they tend to avoid the talk, but of course this is not a rule, just my point of view experiencing living here for 4 years. Mexico city it's beautiful and have a lot of things to do and see, but the cons is the cost of rent (not so expensive to people that make money in dollars haha) and the very dry and polluted air.
No me digas, bienes de un país zurdo.
I love Mexico City.
I also hate the airport! Still bitter they canceled NAIM and we ended up with the crappy AIFA :(
🙄
AIFA its fine. Ask luisito comunica.

Hey Den, long time, are you back in Mexico?
Hola de Panama! 👋 🦕
That's someplace I haven't been yet!
0:53 I think you mistook "movillidad" (mobility, and translated it as public transport) with "amabilidad" which means kidness, just a heads up
I am impressed to see how diverse Mexico city looks
I thought all Mexicans looked like native americans lol
Mexico is definitely a lot more diverse than most people think :) even within different parts of the country there's huge variety
Most Mexicans are mestizos, children of Native Americans with Spaniards, there is also an African component in small amounts. This applies to all Spanish-speaking countries with similar or different nuances
Majority of Mexicans are of mixed race
@@eltecnico9541 there is not an AFRICAN " component in mexicans. Mexico never used slaves and told americans NOT TO BRING THEM TO TEXAS , which americans did anyway... As a mexican i find you and your comment disgusting.
@@2magma.commandthe Spaniards did bring slaves to Mexico during colonial times. You should check out the dna tests of the average Mexican. You would be surprised
Time to visit the new airport and give us a review
You're right on the money. CDMX airport has been obsolete for decsdes. The building of a new one has been the cause of a political dispute. The government in power cancelled the construction of a modern, world class airport just to build an inadequate, poorly planned airport that has been a miserable failure.
The new airport is a massive upgrade over the AICM bullshit politics aside, I had the chance to use it and have no complaints at all, much more modern and it was surprisingly easy to get to the city center by mini bus.
I'm curious about the Racism? Is it light skin vs dark skin, spanish vs native etc? Or is it against other minorities like blacks? - WW
Sadly we Mexicans are but we are so ashamed to admit it so you will only see Mexicans talk about "classism" instead.
The thing is that it's only towards the indigenous native people (a.k.a. the ones who actually were there since the beginning while we modern "Mexicans" are just a mix of Spaniard and native indigenous (aztecs and mayans for example).
But outside that, we aren't, specially with tourists, we are amazed to see people from other cultures, and about African Americans i think just being in Mexico they will make instant friends just by walking around, we like hip hop culture so much that is already impregnated into the Mexico culture, and in general happy reactions over African Americans, Asian, Europeans, etc...
Sadly the indigenous thing goes all the way thru Latin America countries, but compared with a lot of them, they usually are less friendly and open minded about other "races".
Greetings and México is waiting for you with open hands! 🇲🇽
And just to specify, no, we don't care about light skin and dark skin, we don't see colors but humans (but sadly still seeing with other eyes the indigenous minorities, but it's more about the Indigenous traits and never about the color)
the last guy... WTH was he talking about? hahaha that was crazy. Cantinfliando gacho mi compa
At the end his speech had sense to me
i’m mexican and we don’t like gentrification.
Who does?
I'm mexican and I hate the airport too, and pollution, traffic, the corruption, etc.. but I love love love this city. Mexico city has better things than bad.
