Okay, I may be jumping the gun, but in her few little runs, her stride is pretty long. She may just turn out to be a graded stakes winner. Off-topic, she looks more like Untouched Talent than American Pharoah. Look how energetic she is! And she's so CUTE!!!
How can you miss when mom has already produced one brother who's a millionaire and who's great grandsires are Seattle Slew, Northern Dancer and Secretariat !
The odds are against the filly doing anything of note on the track, actually. A general rule of thumb is that an outstanding stud will produce 10% stakes winners -- and most stakes winners never approach greatness. Secretariat and Barbaro both had full siblings who did zip on the track. Zenyatta's sons haven't managed to win a race. Even "blue hen" mares (proven top-producing broodmares) will give birth to non-winners of any type of race. Arc winner Urban Sea -- one of the greatest broodmares in history, dam of European greats Galileo and Sea The Stars, as well My Typhoon, a million dollar winner in the U.S. -- produced several non-starters and low-level racers.
American Pharoah covered 208 his first year (2016), 214 mares his second year. Since 2017 he's been a shuttle stallion, spending the second half of the year in the southern hemisphere (in Australia) for a second breeding season.
I hope they give some of these little Pharoahs Egyptian names (spelled correctly, unlike his!). This little chromefoot could be Nefertiti, or Nefertari, or just Nefer (beautiful). Or Nile Princess. Or Amneris. Or, for that matter, Aida (she's dark enough).
jetshockey5 umm no they didn’t. Justin Zayat has stated they had a naming contest when AP was born and a lady won. He copied the name chosen from her message and emailed it when naming him.
She's so spirited. She was impressive at the weanling sale last year; I'll bet she's a dead knockout now! Now she looks like her sire; but she still has no name.
So do you suppose they'll take name suggestions for her the way they did for her sire? Because the fans can come up with a lot of them. Let's see...Talented Princess? No, sounds to generic. Queen Untouchable. Yes, that sounds good. It's regal, and it issues a challenge.
What a pedigree this little one has: Storm Cat, Terlingua, A. P. Indy, Northern Dance twice, Secretariat twice, Seattle Slew, Bold Ruler twice. Wow!
How in the hell do you figure all that
Check sire line and dam line separately
Such a precious look at the 3 of them - Papa, Mama and baby! Thank you so much for sharing!
What's her name? And where is she now, I wonder?

HE MAY JUST BECOME A GRAND SLAM AS A SIRE TOO.
Thinking the same thing. He's as good off the track as he is on it. Precious filly, already finding out what legs are for.
Cute little one.... Hope she makes it to the track.

Manju Singh Since he covers maybe 100 mares a year, that would get quite expensive!!!

Well-balanced.

With her pedigree and the number of proven top competitors in the family, male and female, she could be one to watch !
Nefer is a great name!

Nice big bones
So, on the racecourse?
Nasty knees
Foals often have wonky looking legs. They straighten out. Hers certainly did. She just sold for one million bucks at the FT sales a few days back...
