It really comes down to price here in Australia for the hybrid model you’ll pay around 12k more than the 1.5L turbo VTI-L. Are you going to spend 12K in petrol and power in 5years if you are buying a new car every 5 years.
Can’t speak from experience, but Honda’s typically feel a bit more refined and the hybrid should get you better mpg. On the flip side, Subaru still makes solid vehicles and typically you get a bit more features for the money.
You are correct, Blind Spot Monitoring is included on all models except the LX. Our videos cover trims in a progressive way where we cover which features are added on each trim instead of listing all features of each individual trim level, meaning this feature was mentioned on the EX trim. Apologies for any confusion and thanks for watching!
Thought this video was helpful. Went to Honda's website to take a look and the trim options did not align with this video at all. Is that because I'm in Canada?
I believe that puts the transmission to a more aggressive programming, whereas the drive modes will affect throttle input and possibly steering weight/feel
@@toptrims oh , but honda sales team says that its sport mode in gear, but it accelerates so quickly never tried above 100km, it revs so much above 3000 rpm
I just came back from LA auto show. I kind of like 2024 CRV sport Hybrid . I am a senior. As a senior is easy to in and out from vehicle.. . I originally plan to purchase 2024 Toyota Camry SE Hybrid. For fuel economy and sedan. Now I am torn. Any suggestion ? Thanks.
CR-V is a fantastic option, you could also consider the RAV4 Hybrid for slightly better fuel economy and more Hybrid trims to choose from. I have a video on the RAV4 as well. Thanks for your comment!
These videos are extremely helpful. Would love a Sub Forester comparison/explanation.
That is a great idea, thank you for your comment!
Just uploaded a video on the Subaru Forester. Thanks again!
EX-L works as we required the following:
- drivers side memory for driver 1 and 2
- wireless Apple CarPlay (lower model where wired only)
Sounds like the right choice!
Thank you for teaching me!
Always happy to help!

That’s a great point, I didn’t realize the hybrids were so expensive in Australia. Thanks for sharing!
I’m trying to decide between a 2025 Subaru Forester Limited or Touring or the 2025 Honda CR-V Sport L or Touring, Suggestions much appreciated!

You forgot to include blind spot mongering on the cr-v EX-L which they do have

Why does Honda never make Sirus XM standard? You got go to 3 trim levels?!
Yes, it’s unfortunate
