I’m so glad you started your channel even though I’m a 49 year old vegan I could definitely see myself wanting to be best buddies with you. Your a natural beauty that can easily get away without wearing makeup & you buy the best food possible for your family you have a lovely kind & caring aura about you & your a natural at UA-cam lots of love from Amanda in Northampton 😊
Aww Laurien you're so soft and such a sweetheart. It's very clear that you love being a Mom and your children are a credit to you both. As much as a hard decision it is regarding having more children, your own health is vital. You were seriously ill last year and it was quite scary to see as a viewer, so I can't even imagine what Curtis was going through. I'm so glad that I found your channel, you've quickly become one of my favourites. xx
Thank you so much Cath ❤️ it's really kind that you were concerned and you're right it is very vital for my children too. Ahh that's sooo lovely to hear thank you so much 🥰xxx
Laurian, you're such a lovely person. My eldest two sons are in their thirties, and my youngest son is 23 and still at home, and my daughter is 22 and also still at home. I could definitely have a daughter your age! You are so right regarding bed time for children. That is one thing I was always strong about. My children never gave me any trouble about bed time because they knew I wouldn't budge. It's the same with everything to do with children, you say what you mean and mean what you say. Children need those boundaries and routines because it makes them feel safe. Safe children are happy children. Very rarely did any of mine need to be told off or corrected, and they were all respectful to other people, and also each other. I am lucky that they all got on really well. You're doing a great job!
Hi Jacqueline, thank you so much! Ah that's lovely you have your two boys and daughter do you see your boys lots and do they have families of their own? Yes that's so right it makes everything so much easier and happier overall! You are lucky mine do sometimes but they do bicker haha. Thank you so much! xx
I feel really inspired by you to be a better Mum, you’re so calm and loving and that’s all I want to be to my kids. I have a very strained relationship with my own mother and don’t see my father and I’ve been through a lot, but I’m determined to break that cycle. It’s hard with no support by loved ones, luckily I have a fab MIL so that makes things easier but I just struggle accepting help because I’ve never really had it. My little girl and boy are my world and becoming a mum is literally the best thing that’s ever happened to me
Hello so lovely to hear from you, I'm so sorry to hear about your strained relationships. It's difficult isn't it to navigate your own way of parenting and what you feel is right. That's so great that you have a lovely mil that must help so much. Do take help from people you love and trust, you need a break too. It's amazing isn't it, there's just nothing better I feel like it's exactly what I'm supposed to do and I just try and do everything I can the best possible because it goes so quickly and I just hope they always feel so deeply loved x
I don’t often comment but I love your videos 😊 You just seem so lovely. Im 27 with 3 yr old twins and a 10 week old baby and I just find you really relatable. Your hair looks really nice too!
Hey so lovely to hear from you! Thank you soo much 🥰 awwwww how lovely what are their names if you don't mind me asking? I'd have loooved twins!! I can imagine its hard though at first but how lovely watching them grow. Thank you so much! ❤️🥰
@@OrdinaryEnglishMum The twins are Alex and Isaac and the baby is Eli. It was a massive shock, but it is really lovely for them to have always had each other 🥰
Thanks for this video it was lovely to get to know you better you are sutch a lovely person with a beautiful family you and curtis was made for each outher and you both deserve all the luck in the world x
Really loved your QnA video laurien,i think your a wonderful mum to ur cherubs and u n curtis have adorable, polite cuties and anyone that wasnt there to give u support n a hug well its their loss🤗Keep shining and make happy memories with your fam💞
You are an amazing young lady and don't ever let anyone tell you different. I am so glad you feel so supported from us all as your followers, you have my word that I will always support you and your family whatever way possible, even if it's just a comment I leave on here. I am sure all your other followers will say the same. I love your videos and I look forward to each one, I know I may seem a bit weird saying that but it's true. You have helped me so much even though we don't know each other and have never met. I suffered life changing injuries on 23rd December 2020 and I am pretty much house bound now. I came across your channel after seeing a video you posted before you had lilac, I have been watching you ever since and you give me inspiration and help me look at life in a good and positive way. You and your beautiful family are amazing and don't ever change the way you are xx lots of love to you all 😀 My name Catherine and I live in Peterborough, England 😀 I put England as there is a Peterborough in America and I know you have your mum who lives there so just in case you know America has a place called Peterborough I wanted to put England xx You are my favourite channel 😀
Hi Catherine, Thank you soo much I really do feel so supported by you all you're so kind and it just means the world to me. You kind messages are so lovely so thank you so much. It's so nice to hear you enjoy my videos and that you have been following and still are for such a long time now and that it helps you in a positive way. I hope you are ok also. Ah yes I would have wondered which, thank you honestly so much for messaging me and im sorry I took so long to respond I wanted to make sure I read and replied properly, it's so nice to hear my channel is your favourite! I hope you're having an amazing weekend ❤️🥰
I understand completely about in-laws mine are the same I've been with my hubby 10 years and 5 kids later still I find my trying so hard I've got to a point were I'm like it's loss never change your so lovely beautiful inside and outside love to all of you xxxx
Your personality is honest. You don’t come over as a false person. I enjoy watching you so keep up the videoing. I never had a Mother in Law as she died when my husband was 14. I wish she was a live as I have missed not having one as she was a lovely lady and would have adored her grandchildren ❤
Hello Laurien what a lovely Q+A You have such a lovely voice 🤗 I have a brother in royal Tunbridge wells and a sister in sevenoaks Love and hugs to you and your family 🤗 As always keep up the awesome work 👍🤗🍀
Hello Bee 🥰 Aw really thank you so much I always disliked my voice but I'm so used to hearing it now! Ah my Stepdad used to work in Tunbridge Wells before they moved to America! Thanks Bee have a lovely week 🥰🥰
Your so lucky to have them in bed for 7:30. I can’t get my two disabled children to bed until at least 9:30/10 because of their needs so I have no down time at all xxx
Just watched this ,I was a Surrey/ Croydon girl. I would love to be your mother in law!! I am sorry to hear you do not have a good relationship with yours. I had issues with mine so I can relate. I hope she is a good grandparent. Take care luvvie. xxx
Awww your so so lovely! And we have so so much In common my partner is also called Curtis and we have been together since I was 15 I am now 32 and our oldest child is 14 this year! It's so nice to feel like I can relate to someone so much your a lovely person and a great mum and your children are so so sweet! ❤️
Oh wow Emily that's crazy haha! How lovely you were 15 that's just so nice. I'm so glad you can relate and it's so nice to hear how similar our lives are 🥰🥰❤️
Aww I know the feeling of wanting more. And you are right about not pushing because it can cause resentment. I had pre-eclampsia every time and it wasn't fair for me to keep having babies and risk my life and leaving behind my husband and kids for just one more. It's not worth it. And I think he got a glimpse of that when you were sick after Lilac. But I know that feeling of longing for another one. Especially when you see your little ones becoming more independent and thinking you could manage just one more. Sending you hugs for your mommy heart. ❤
I love this video as usual. I’m 60 years old so I’m like your grandma almost but I started watching your food hauls as I’m in Canada and I love the UK food bits. However I find myself watching your other content because I think you and your hubby are sweet and you have lovely children. I think what makes me love my in law children is how much they love our children. And because you love Curtis so much I don’t understand how your mother in law wouldn’t love you for that as well as the fact you are a sweetie. However some women for some reason are jealous if their son loves another woman. However I think she should be happy he loves you and that you love him. Oh well that’s just my opinion I guess. It’s a shame because she’s also losing out on not only not being with you but also her son and grandchildren.
Ohhh that you soo much that is soo kind of you and so nice to hear! I completely agree with seeing how much somebody loves your children would make you love them. I really can't understand it I hope I can learn from it though. Thank you your kind words mean so much to me 🥰💕
Hi laurien lovely to get to know you and your family a little more you have a wonderful outlook and so content you have a good relationship with Curtis that's so important your children will definitely benefit from that but I think you already know that you've got it sussed with what you said about not pushing Curtis into having another baby who knows what the future holds though but for now enjoy your special family you are a lovely mummy and your children are sooo cute take care 💖😘 xxx
Hello Coral! Aw thank you soo much 🥰🥰 definitely we are at such a lovely stage it would be a shame to put too much pressure on us. That's very true. Thank you so much Coral I hope you're having a lovely week 💗xxx
Thankyou for this video I really enjoyed it, I would have loved to have had you as my daughter in law you and Curtis are a lovely couple with wonderful kids, I have one daughter who is 32 and she’s just had her first child a gorgeous granddaughter for me called Molly …look forward to seeing your next video
Hi you and your husband are such brilliant parents to your 5 beautiful children and I wish I knew you in real life I think we would be really good friends I live in Southampton and really good Q&A and it's good that you got supportive parents even though they live quite far away 😘❤️
Hello Lou 🥰 that's so interesting because one of my brothers moved to Southampton a couple of years ago! I havent seen him since he isnt a huge family man. I wish I knew you too you're so so lovely ❤️ thank you so much xxx
I hate when people say Ur mad haven an other one to ive 3 an am thinking on one more people think am mad but am 35 an like an age gap ive a one year old so maybe in 3 years I give myself till 40 coz still young but wouldn't go past 40 Ur still so young give urself few years things could change then xx
Yes it's so frustrating isn't it haha makes you feel crazy but you know what's right for you and your family. That's lovely you'll have another! I had a few years between my first 3 but only about 18-20 months between the last two xx
My unasked for opinion is that Curtis's idea of perfect is your family now, but your might be another boy called Hero, but maybe if you can see that perfect is that you and Curtis can cope and thrive whatever happens in life then it will matter less if there is 7 or 8 long term. Some couple have extra kids by accident way later, like Gordon Ramsay, but like you say not best health choice maybe.
Hi,I'm old enough to be your Mum but we have things in common....I too have four brothers and two sisters, also 5ft4 and my other half is seven months older than me,he's December I'm July. Weird eh?lol Your doing fantasticly and your children are all beautiful, take care xx
Hello 🥰 oh wow thats sooo interesting!! I'm December and Curtis is July!!! How crazy is that?? I'm the 6th hes the 12th. What about you two?? Thank you so much xxx
I understand completely about mother-in-law mine was never there for me even though I went out of my way for her but much later in life we got on really well That being said you got this girlfriend xxx
Hi Laurien loved your Q&A I appreciate your honesty about your life. I love your videos so much. Your such a wonderful Mum to your gorgeous children. I am very close to my parents too both my Mum and Dad are always there for me and I appreciate them so much. I’m the same height as you 5’4” I really feel that I can relate to you. I have 4 boys, 3 of them are young adults, ages, 22,19,17 and my youngest is 12. I could always be a friend to you and if you ever need someone I will be there for you. Sending all my love 😍 xxx
Hi Louise, thank you so much. Its lovely to hear you like my videos. I love hearing from you. Ahh that's so nice! It's nice to hear how similar people are. Awwww I would love that, you're so kind thank you Louise xxx
Laurie, I would love to have you as a daughter in law. My mother in law was okay we got on-didn’t see much of each other due to distance. My husband was her blue eyed boy……got on better once had our 3 children!!!!
Awww Janet that would just be so lovely! We only live about half an hour from mine but our only relationship is the children. Thats nice you got on better after children xx
Hi, are Roo and Flossie's name's shorted and you don't have to answer if you don't want to. And my daughter has a kangaroo with little roo on it she's had from birth and she will be 4 soon xx
Hello Emma of course I don't mind any questions. Their names are just Roo and Flossie not shortened. Ahhh that's so sweet!! Roo has that too and he is 4 in May 🥰🥰xx
I understand in what your saying about having the mum & mum inlaw figures. Ive never had a close relationship with my mum. we dont even get on not spoke to her in over 30yrs. I get on with my mother in law but were not close. shes never had daughters & shes more like a tom boy. I so wanted to have that close friendship with a mother figure as i missed out on so much.
Exactly the same with me, it's such a shame isnt it. I've always kept trying but I cant anymore. I'm gutted but it is what it is. I'm sooo so sorry to hear about you and your mum. I hope you're OK that must have been really hard for you ❤️
@@OrdinaryEnglishMum My mum wasnt around much when i was a child. my dad did his best to raise me & my brother. I will always appreciate what my dad did for us. I tried with my mum over the years but she wasnt interested. she shouldnt have had children really she wasnt the maternal type. Im so glad that im alone & have my own family. you can only try so many times, i give people chances but once im done im done! My past has defantly made me stronger person. Your very lucky to have curtis by your side. xxx
It's so lovely your dad was there and stood up to make sure he did his best for you all. I really am sorry for you and I'm glad you have your own family now to love you. I'm definitely done giving chances now xxxx
It’s such a shame you don’t have a good relationship with your mother in law, I’ve been married/and divorced twice but always got on with my mother in laws. My eldest daughter is the same age as you and I’ve, for most of her lives, (since my eldest was 11 and youngest 6), been a single parent and struggled financially and otherwise. The first time I got married very young and he cheated on me whilst I was pregnant with my second child. The second was a bit of a whirlwind, I had my kids from my first marriage and he’d never had any, it was hard, eventually we had a child together but it just didn’t work out, think we got together too fast and he was very different to me and my way of parenting, I felt he was treating my children from my first husband differently. We clashed parenting wise and lots of other reasons, (he drank etc), just wasn’t right so we split up. I would love to live near to you and be your surrogate mother in law, especially as it must be hard with your mum so far away too. Lovely vlog as always, at least you have a very caring, hands on, lovely partner in Curtis so that’s a bonus, you seem to be so happy together and childhood sweethearts. It’s lovely to see x ❤
Hi Andrea, thanks for your kind message. I'm really pleased for your sake that you've always got on well with them that must be so nice for you. Oh no I'm so sorry you've been through that that's really horrible. It can be hard even disagreeing on small aspects of parenting so if you don't agree much at all that must be so difficult. Ah I would love that too so much! Thank you so much I hope you have a lovely week! xxx
@@OrdinaryEnglishMum I hope you had a great weekend and a nice Mother’s Day. I went to my son and his girlfriends place and had a lovely roast dinner, got some really nice presents, some orchids, a Yankee candle and a huge bar of cadburys milk chocolate 😋 had a great afternoon with them. I’m sure you will do a vlog of your Mother’s Day soon. Yes would be lovely to live near you, your children are a credit to you, such a lovely family. Yeah parenting clashes are hard as take a toll on your relationship and my youngest behaviour was so bad because he was too soft and gave in to her, I was the stricter one and when we split she was 6, and almost straightaway her behaviour improved loads, only going back to her previous behaviour after a weekend with her dad. Just showed how it was affecting her, my kids from my previous marriage also saw the difference in how he treated her compared to them and I wasn’t having that. Take care and I look forward to your upcoming vlogs 😊xx
@@andreaodonnell2159 Sorry I've taken so long to reply I've just seen this! That sounds so lovely it's nice to hear you have a good relationship with your sons girlfriend too! Parenting clashes do take a toll on the relationship don't they its always difficult and probably the only thing me and Curtis occasionally disagree on. Aw its a good job you did notice and managed to solve it for her sake and her siblings xx
@@OrdinaryEnglishMum don’t worry, I know you’re busy. yes it was a hard decision ending my second marriage as my youngest was a daddies girl, probably because she had him wrapped around her little finger! But I wasn’t happy and we disagreed on so many things and his drinking was getting worse. I didn’t want to put my other 2 children through another change, by splitting with him, as it was hard for them to accept him as a stepdad in the first place but it all worked out for the best in the end x

@@OrdinaryEnglishMum thankyou laurien hope you are having a lovely week take care and love to you and your family 😊💖😘 xxx

You're so sweet!
Thank you so much Caron ❤️❤️

What a coincidence I have 4 brothers and 1 sister 😊
Aw how lovely!
@@OrdinaryEnglishMum you are very welcome xxx♥️
So true Carol! Definitely agree with that x
Hi,I'm old enough to be your Mum but we have things in common....I too have four brothers and two sisters, also 5ft4 and my other half is seven months older than me,he's December I'm July.

Well I'm really glad you got on later in life that's better than never! Thank you so much xxx
Ahh that's sweet Roo has a little roo and my little one is 4 next month xx
Ah so similar! xx
❤
❤️🥰
I'm glad it all worked out for best in the end. Sounds like you've just done so well. Parenting is so hard isn't it x@@andreaodonnell2159
