Your eggs are beautiful. There’s no way of getting around having your hands messy with paint for this project. I painted my eggs like you did too. My favorite color was the mossy green. They really turned out to be gorgeous. That gold speckle was brilliant.
Messy doesn’t bother me. It washes off… eventually. lol I am so glad you liked them. 😊

The eggs are my favorite. I was glad to see you chose the mustard. I just bought that and I can't wait to use it. The speckles on the eggs takes them up a notch and adding the bit of dark brown was perfect. Any color would look good in the little cartons like that. Just adorable. I've noticed several times the distressing, or so called distressing is more like they use a stencil and paint it on. I'm so not a fan of that either.
I love the little speckles too. A few of my chickens give me speckled eggs😊

I love the eggs! They look so real! My chickens lay eggs that look like the Amazon eggs look before you painted them. I love what you did to them. I have blown out my eggs before and painted them. I need to do it again using your technique!
When my kids were little, we used to blow out eggs. I haven't done it in many. years. We had so much fun with them. Great idea!

Love your egg baskets with the wire handle---inspired! One of my favorite sayings is, "Bloom where you are planted". (I moved around with my husband when we were first married, so I found myself in unexpected locales. This quote helped me settle in and grow roots where God planted me.)

I love the eggs! The colors you chose are perfect, and to use a real egg carton is so great. The wire handle just made the whole look. Until I started watching you, I didn't think I liked the prim look as much as so many other styles, but you have converted me! I was so happy you shared your recipe for the grunge. I've used cinnamon but never thought to use coffee! I also love how the other spices add different colors into the mix. Thank you for sharing!

The plate is beautiful! The lavender and the honeybees you added distracted from the weird distressing that was on the plate. Your projects are always beautiful!❤

Beautiful work. The eggs are so pretty that it is hard to choose a fave. I guess since I love using the mustard color on other projects I would probably pick it. What do you put n your spice mix ?
I use cinnamon, instant coffee, cloves (whole & ground), allspice, and when its easily available pumpkin spice. Here is the video I did on how I make it. ua-cam.com/video/nyN9zvyH05k/v-deo.html
Do all those wrinkles in the plate disappear when it dries.
Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't, we just embrace the imperfections. 😊
