- I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

Welcome to Alabama! Big Jim Folsom was a colorful politician in Alabama for years! I knew you were in this area from all the 'copters you saw recently! Come on a little farther south to see Blakely, 27 Mile Bluff and the original site of Mobile. The 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center is on the causeway across the top of the Delta. It can be reached from I-10 and Hwy 90. Ya'll will love it. Thanks Post.
Is this the original Folsom Prison?
@@OurAwesomeUniverse, it's not the same as the Folsom Prison where Johnny Cash played, if that's what you're asking. That's near Sacramento, CA.
Big Jim was possibly the only decent non-racist governor Alabama has ever had. He was too good for Alabama. All the ones who came before & after have been truly horrible and racist.
what a cool abandoned building. Looks like someone is keeping up with the mowing. The grass looks great
Welcome to my home state! We're glad to have you see our beautiful countryside
Love these great finds post! Thanks for the upload.
Nice documentation post! Glad you were able to get this posted for all of us too see! Keep up the good work and info!
"Oop- There's a dooooog~"
He's just like me, fr fr
I’m a born and raised Montanan living in the south for the first time and I’ll tell you it sure is something! Lots more abandoned places down here. I’m staying down in VA and there are so many pretty majestic, abandoned homes. It’s wild to me
Midwest Magic Cleaning mentioned your channel and sends his “hello”!
👍👍 thank you for taking us on another tour. Love 💙 them, Post.
P. S. Never heard of the person and didn't learn about him in school.
I love these videos of you visiting old abandoned buildings.
Also love the old can food tasting on your other channel.
Keep up the great work.
Im loving all the Alabama videos recently being released on your various channels.
That big cockroach is mostly called a Palmetto bug..aka a water bug...they eat almost anything they like damp moist places mostly and fly when they feel threatened. We have them all over Alabama. Freaky looking bugs. Happy trails Post 10!!
Nah, probably just a big American Cockroach. I went to grad school at UGA. The old building were filled with American Cockroaches.
The American cockroach (Periplaneta americana) is the largest species of common cockroach, and often considered a pest. In certain regions of the U.S. it is colloquially known as the waterbug,
Living in Alabama my whole life I know a Waterbug when I see one. Even though this is not an actual Palmetto bug it commonly called one.
Thank you for sharing. I believe the second floor was for administration . I like to see history preserved.
Another Awesome video!
Thanks Post🙏💚
Interesting video Post. I think looking at the floor layout there were definitely cells upstairs .
Thank you for your video! 🔦
All those bars made me nervous. I'm sure some kind of precautions have been taken, but I'd still be afraid of getting accidently locked into one of those cells. 😱 (Just a LITTLE claustrophobic...)
Thanks for another interesting video!!!
Love the bonus footage on the shorts!
Thanks Post 👊🏻👍🏻 Appreciate you my friend 🙏🏻
I love seeing old buildings like that cause it's so cool seeing them ❤
Thanks for taking us along. I would be too creeped out to go inside, but I enjoyed the tour.
Would make a good set for a film.
Exposure to Iron Oxide fumes can cause metal fume fever. This is a flu-like illness with symptoms of metallic taste, fever and chills, aches, chest tightness and cough. * Prolonged or repeated contact can discolor the eyes causing permanent Iron staining. Lots of medical reasons why people need to be careful entering those old buildings Post, do take care.
Very cool video of that old structure. Where is Mrs. Post 10? Hope to see her in your next post. Keep on and keep safe.
I really liked today’s stream. That is a neat building.
This was super cool. Thanks Post!
Soap bar was random.
I’ve never seen the inside of a prison before and happy that I haven’t. It’s pretty stark. It was very I interesting thanks for the pics, info and site seeing.
Every time I watch these videos now, I expect to see Mrs. Post10. 😝
💯
Amazing! Any new food videos on the horizon over on your other page? 😊
At the moment, no, but there is one backlog
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO POST 10 😊
South Alabama is a pretty cool area to explore. There is a lot of history in the area and a lot of small towns that are semi abandoned. At least the downtown areas are.
Great video
I am very surprised at all that metal steel from the cells are still there no one has scrapped them out
Love 💙 the after pictures
Oh no! I want to hear "just exploring" instead of "just photographing" 😅 Keep up the great videos Posty!
he did that one too
Gave me the creeps!!
Post 10 out of his element in bama
That was very interesting!
Huge huge weather difference from Northern Ontario and Maine to say the least !
That growing on the house is Kudzu. It grows wild in the South
You're a true Horsefighter!❤❤
The writings on the walls and floor are creepy but i enjoyed the tour of the little jailhouse. Thanks😊
"This looks like a very interesting video.
Thank you for sharing this Post.
I hope you have a good day.
Thank you!"
Hopefully if you come back to the west coast you get to tour Alcatraz..Quite an interesting place
Very interesting video! This location would also make for a great filming location for a paranormal themed horror movie.
very interesting
Oooh boy can't wait to watch this.
I guarantee you in the summer, that place is COVERED in banana spiders and their huge webs.
Hi Post 👋
Love the abandoned buildings
how do you find these places all the time? Your not even from down south and your discovering cool stuff a little over an hr away from me that i never knew about.
google is your friend, we just never take time to google our own environment through the lens of a tourist
Welcome to Alabama 1:28 pretty much sums up the state
Yeah top floor definitely seemed like additional cells
Hey post - do you take tips on where beaver dams and clogs exist?
Wow, so cool
I have found a t least 10 of your reels posted on facebook under someone else stuff. They’re listed under “ unclogging drains”
Just curious my friend.. did you happen to visit Mississippi?
0:25 worlds brightest flashlight 100,000 lumins
Nice 👍🏻 just uploaded after I finish work.
My favorite video
Looks like a film set
You could see how claustrophobic and tight those passage ways were.
I reckon someone was still staying in there.
I do not think these are the days when people want to see prisons though interesting. I think we look to you for positivity , making a contribution to society that perhaps we can follow. In England we have the renovation of canals that you would and your followers would love I think.
That would make a cool house.
Upstairs probably was more cells probably solitaire confinement
Yes those spots upstairs use to be cells as well . . It is kind of haunted cause a couple other channels I watch have exploded that place .
Looks like at 8:45 you can see a floor waste drain with the screen still present.
Interesting😊🌵😎
I’m excited let’s go
so small. Must be very little crime there
😲 - Woah!
Post 10 I am from alabama
Upstairs Ablutions Room
I wonder If this was active prison In 1990 it’s so small and right on the main road that’s crazy!!!
properly build in the 1930s or 50s or so
Love old abandoned jails, so neat and historic. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The local pd was watching you, ran your plate and then left.
Upstairs: those could've been the cells, and Downstairs: Confinement.
Looks like a good camping spot dare you
Don't know what's more creepy the cells or you going around with wellies on 😂😂😂
Maybe the upstairs were showers and toilets?
👍👍🙂 Post 10
What brought you to Alabama? I live close to coffee county
Exploring
@@post.10 cool
It doesn't really look like a prison, does it? It's nice compared to the boxy ones they have now. Outside anyway, inside not so much.
Could be a dorm room
😁😁😁
Is it safe to do this all alone
Its certainly more fun
A lot of time he has someone with him but they aren’t on camera.
Well i'm thinking that room upstairs was, Segregation cells
😀
7:39 That may have been an “American cockroach” which is common in the South/SE, they aren’t much like the German cockroach as they don’t infest houses and spread disease etc, they are much more interested in staying outside, I’ve also heard they are attracted to soap for some reason. They also fly which really creeped my wife out when we lived in the south 😂
soap = mosrlty fat. some insects can eat that
ROLL TIDE
Maybe a little more respectful than the NE with the amount of graffiti?
And this video confirms it. You were only about 20 miles from Fort Novosel in Elba. Those helicopters in the other video were extremely likely to be from there.
Fort Rucker
Welcome to the Wiregrass
Why does that mean?
Its a shame they letting these historical buildings fall apart
Some of these buildings really can't be saved or aren't worth saving. Some old buildings are made with dangerous materials that aren't used anymore.
Hi post, how about visiting the ancient city of Teotihuacan in Mexico, or go visit the other cities of Sodom and Gomorrah they have major hotel facilities along the Dead Sea and bus tours that take you right up to the site to get to see lots wife that would be very interestinglove from all of us on Staten Island, New York handsome
My guy, constantly getting into scenarios for our viewing pleasure that smell like poop 🫡
Great video
