Yeah I paired him with SubZero because it is easy to combo from any string into freeze, backdash and jump in while frozen for most damage and change between forms before or mid combo, then the old form spamming HK into ground projectile 2 or 3 times to change back into Young and finish it with any button + Claws sending it full screen, not even wasting meter for almost 35% damage, then spam 3 Hit projectiles full screen for the check and burning meter the second time to make it mid and basically he is more than halfway dead. Also on the projectile battles ambush SubZero gives me armor to projectiles so... I can spam against any of their own forcing them to come down or go into old form to use ground ones...
I use shang tsung with shujinko because it feels correct. Being able to copy ur opponents moves is super cool. And makes them suffer for picking their fighter. If you pick smoke then i get to go invisible HA. Shujinko will be an S tier kameo in a few months just watch!
Love Shang with Lao because of the pressure, plus zoning with low hat + teleport. Do you feel like Shang also pairs well with Scorpion since he has the overhead?

hm I pair him with Sonya to get conversions off b1,2 and 2,4 in young form. This allows him to transform in old man form for great combo capabilities; but doing this, you kind of sacrifice mixup's and pressure. If you go for a kameo that allows for mixup's then he's pretty much reliant on only old man form for big combo damage.

Since I'm new to Mk games I paired him with sector cause he allows me to combo off that ex injection move that morphs me and I get a guaranteed morph combo which is sweet I just wanna look cool man 😂

Unlike other difficult combos, this one can’t be done anymore. The depressing thing is. Nrs has only hotfixed new shang downloads. So some still have a character that can do the combo.

I agree somewhat with this tho I really like young form for his spike trap shenanigans. In some matchups Id rather use young form and switch to old if I get a launcher
@@RaivazzI been labbing and figured how to utilize mixes of both forms for most damage the only issue is the execution but it can def be learned haven’t seen many videos explaining when exactly to switch forms in a strings or specials to get different output.

Please please nrs keep the combo damage 40% meterless is a dream finally we can do combos again and be rewarded in mk11 i just did uppercuts after stunning it did not really Change

how do you land chip combo with kano? they spam it on me and i cant even get out of block hahah. its like 1-2-DF2-Kano Blade or Roll - Old Form Claw. can you correct me on this or help?
It has to do with how high your oponnent is in the air. You have to find the sweet spot if you hit him early he floats higher. Play around with the kick timings into fireball
@@Raivazz it has been nerfed. Some accounts can do it, some can’t there is nothing special about you or foxy for doing the combo. This kid cannot finish it because his shang tsung includes a moveset hotfix. Nrs being quiet about it.
@@Raivazz I timed the kick in the earliest frame possible, and worked my way back. And started late an worked until I was doing the kick input to early. Over an over an over an over and over. The combo cannot be done on my account.
I hate that he has such bad moves. There's not many combos you can do with him besides the boring kick-fireball-kick-fireball combo. I have no idea why other characters got amazing moves and he got hardly any.

I’ve been using him with scorpion for a 50/50 in old stance. F, 2, 4 is the string in mind as it ends with a low, also B, 2, 2, 3,

Scorpions overhead is nice for Shang

I learned a really nice Baraka style pressure tool for Shang with Cyrax kameo, takes a little bit of execution tho

Shujinko is fun to put on as Kameo for him but you're kinda having to hope the special you copy from the enemy is an overhead lol

Its gone standing kick into ground skull has been nerfed on all new shang dl, and will be patched for everyone soon.

After the ex fire ball when I nock them away from the ground the fireball that pulls them in never hits why?

Sareena gets blown up by D4. people need to stop assuming she's OP. She's not even top tier.
People have been using her the wrong way, once you face higher level players you'll see how good she truly is.
