Originally built in 1925 as the 12 story "Warwick Hotel" located on Main Street in the heart of the Museum District, next to Hermann Park, Rice University and the world renowned Texas Medical Center.
As noted in Forbes magazine, Bob Hope once told Phil Donahue that the view from the top of the Warwick Hotel in Houston was the best in the world. When the Warwick turned into Hotel ZaZa, the top floor was transformed into a series of suites called the Rock Star Suite, Black Label, Tycoon, For Your Eyes Only, Fatal Charms, Bella Vita, and It Happened One Night.

There are 10 museums within walking distance of the hotel including;
The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; Contemporary Arts Museum Houston; Holocaust Museum Houston; and the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
Rice University prominently placed on the world map by the late US President George H W Bush hosting a Global Summit with world leaders is just a stones throw away from Hotel Zaza.
The Texas Medical Center is minutes from Hotel Zaza and is accessible by MetroRail. There is a MetroRail station directly across the street (on Fannin).
I enjoyed my experience at Hotel Zaza and very much look forward to a return visit.
