    sometimes I'll come back and watch a video 2 or 3 times just to listen to your narration and comments, you're so much to hang with Tim, I'd love to spend a few days with you guys out in the bush; it's a far cry from how I used to log with an old TimberJack skidder and 272 Husky!

    That machine might have 15000 hrs on it but it still is mighty powerful and quick! AND I might add Kevin is mighty slick using it - talk about smooth efficient motion, that's just a great example to anyone.

    Great stuff Tim! Keep em coming. Love the processing videos. I do have one question concerning quotas. Does the wood you haul from your personal tracts go against your weekly quotas as well. Just curious to know if they are separated. If it's none of my business just let me know as well.

    To run that machine that good you have to be like a helicopter pilot, able to do a tap dance while rubbing your stomach with one hand, tapping the top of your head with the other while reciting algebra problems verbatim

  • @hogcat858
    @hogcat858 7 років тому

    Does that machine have something inside that tells the operator the length, or does the operator just guess compared to what is laying on the ground?

    • @cotontop3
      @cotontop3  7 років тому

      +hogcat it tells him everything about that tree. Length to both saws and diameter at both also

    • @williamuskoski1385
      @williamuskoski1385 7 років тому

      Mike Crile the blade end is the front. usually the op sits kinda sideways in them. its easier to see both ways like that.

    Tim I got a good question for ya. The 822 compared to the 830 power wise; how big of a difference?

    • @cotontop3
      @cotontop3  7 років тому +1

      +Lumberjack it's tough to answer that because the machines are designed for 2 very different applications. 830 has a 9 liter and 822 is 8.3 liter.

    • @lumberjack3764
      @lumberjack3764 7 років тому

      cotontop3 yeah I knew the question was a bit off cause the machine are built a bit different for each specific job was just curious how much of a boast the 9L over 8L anywho thanks!
