- The Starfield Kid Stuff trait makes it so you have parents in the game! You can visit them whenever you'd like in New Atlantis at the cost of 2% every week.

i was just quick selling stuff from my inventory and accientally sold that backpack for like 100 credits, immediately went to buy it back and spent like 3k credits. I WILL NEVER TAKE IT OFF NOW

They also give you cool stuff. A decent pistol, a decent space suit, and even a ship. Not much else after that, unfortunately, but you can still visit them and they talk about when you were in the news and stuff.
It's a bit odd when you also have the Street Rat trait, because that means you grew up on the streets of Neon. But your parents say they moved around a lot, so maybe they actually adopted you when you were in your early teens or something like that.
Are there any contradictions if you pick ‘kids stuff’ and ‘neon street rat’ perks? Does having parents create a backstory for you?

Not much crossover. I picked United colonies background and they don’t really bring it up. They live there sure but they act like they’re simply renting and have been moving from place to place.
I picked kid stuff, neon street rat, and serpents embrace. I've played for some time now and have yet to hear them mention it. Am keeping an eye out for it as I play more though, as both of the traits say they have to do with how you were raised.
@@CatsHaveEars I'd love a DLC or update where they bring in other pairs of voice actors to reflect the cultures of your selected faction.
For instance, River's actress from Firefly + the demolitions expert or the pilot for Freestar Collective Settler,
Morrigan's and Alastair's actors from Dragon Age for Neon Street Rat,
Jack and Wrex's actors from Mass Effect for Serpent's Embrace perks with Kid Stuff.

I think the coolest thing I got out of this perk so far, is literally a custom m1911 pistol from dad at the lodge
You need see the grandmama war outfit, man this is a nice skin suit. But not have any perk. Maybe in NG+
Also the ship and meat cake XP booster are good too.
@@PaladinodoCerradooficial oh I got that too, but I'm sticking with my mantis suit, I re-rolled it a couple times and now I am almost at 200 mass carry weight without any perks for it

I had a few props like that, I looked on Etsy for people who would hand make them with pro-level quality. They were always expensive but there really is nothing like them on the market, real works of art.

This perk in portuguease here in Brazil means ''Família Unida''/ Family's Together. And this perk is amazing. The thing they give to us are so cool.
1 - A old Gun from Earth, a Glock Like pistol.
2 - Grandma War Suit. - 1 run normal item, maybe in NG+ the gear can have a lot new stats.
3 - A SHIP! Yes a nice van ship. HAHA
4 - Granddaddy meat cake. - MAN its a 30min of 5% more XP!

You should all know that you will receive an M1911 gun which is exclusive item pertaining to this trait.
As well, you receive an exclusive Helmet, and Suit. I've also heard you receive a Starship, yet I've not attained it yet.
It's also important to know that the backpack is meaningless once you attain the ability to add mods to your jetpack, because the +10 carry weight is actually coming from a mod which was attached to the item which otherwise does nothing. You can add +10 carry weight to ANY Jetpack/backpack in the game.
It should be noted that I received a code merely 24 hours early so I wanted to make something to show people. :)
woah this is my first time seeing gameplay and the faces are kinda... unsettling. not upset but definitely interesting
I mean, it's a Bethesda game using the Creation Engine. Faces are always kinda funky. I'm just glad they are an improvement over Fallout 4's faces.

They need to fix one very important detail about this perk. My characters hair color should be reflected in at least one of the parents. As it stands when you walk in with pink hair like Natsu from Fairy Tail and both your parents have black hair it makes you immediately understand theyre your adopted parents not the real ones.
