I just picked one up in a "swap-of-the-century" deal. It is actually more comfortable than I thought, and for some reason, I enjoy it more than my ES339 PRO. It is more resonant than that and my G400 PRO and Worn guitars. Epiphone hit the ball out of the park with this one. It can do it all, jazz, blues, classic rock and even metal if you want it to. Man I've been missing out all these years!!
Always getting back to this review, even after buying the guitar. Is it informative? Not really. Is it capturing the sound of the guitar? Well, no. Do I feel like playing my Dot after seeing this video? Hell yeah! There were plenty of other videos tediously pointing out the specs of the guitar (or how the neck pickup sounds) which I was happy for but this video is just entertaining as hell. Let me tune my high e string now a bit off to my preference and rock out!
Clapton uses one as does Eric Johnson and Stevie Ray Vaughn used one in a few songs. He said in one of his last interviews that he was getting into more arch top guitars. Wonder what he would be playing today?
Lame review. But the guitar is great. I have one. Fantastic value for the price. Great tuners, decent HB's and gorgeous color. Can't believe this is under $500. Great guitar but pretty shitty review.

I have one if these and i love it. Stays in tune much better than my friends Gibson Les Paul.

I have a redhead and a blonde and run them both through an old Cube 40. They are great.
That rosewood is so light, I swore it was Pao Ferro. Looks weird to me, but I’d still rock it.

@@socialdef3 yours must be a 2015-16 or older because the newer ones are not Rosewood they are Indian Laurel.
At that price it is a steal......! Sounds really nice if a tad light for my tastes. Something like an Orange amp could beef it up.
It is one of the best values you'll find. I do think you'd like it through a crunchy amp. Even with high gain, it retains clarity.
That fingerboard is really light. Tone is not to my liking either but I really could use a 335.
The announcer must have done a fat line on the amps before they recorded. .
I have a 25 year old Sheraton that makes that sound like a two bob axe

No doubt that these are excellent value guitars, but it sounds shit through that amp
